I can pretty much confirm that the Bloodstained armor no longer drops in Najena. After 4 solid days of clearing this zone with a 36 Warrior and 50 Ranger we had no drops of Bloodstained. I believe this was a one time GM event that dropped these items.

I almost embarassed to admit it, but my Ranger is still in Banded boots...
That said, these look pretty appealing. Since I've never been to Najena, how would a level 40 Ranger fare fighting the mobs that drop these? Which mobs should I concentrate on for the best chances for a drop? Could I do it myself?

How some people got the idea (read some of the previous posts) that these were from the Legends server is beyond me, you guys have wild imaginations, that's all I can say.
Anyway, back a few weeks ago, there were a few GM events going on, very minor ones, but I was in Najena at the time. An annoucement was made there that the residents of Najena had just come back from hunting & had new treasures.
Never having heard this message before, I had a look around to see if anything had changed, and some of the guards looked a little different to what they usually did. So I started killing all the greenies, and they dropped various pieces of bloodstained armor, from boots to tunic to arms, etc..
There weren't many people in the zone, so I had a pretty clear run of things, got about 10 or so pieces altogether. After I killed the mobs, the next ones that spawned in their place did NOT have the bloodstained armor on it.
So I am guessing that this was just a one off event, I haven't been back, so can't confirm that, but that's how I got the boots & the other armor.

Is it just me or does it seem a bit strange to anyone else that blodstained drops off of magicians in Najena but are not useable by a Mage? Why on earth would a mage carry around junk they cannot use? Most mages are not very strong to begin with and to carry something that cannot be used is not something I would expect.

If you would notice too that they also come equiped with spears, rapiers, main gauches and sheilds. (also the necros too) Plus they can bash, double attack, and can cast spells that should have casting recovery times but chain cast like mad! Their punches make my warrior envious since they are low lvl. Have you ever tried attacking some thing 12 lvls above you? You miss almost all the time, and when you do hit, its for a point of dmg. However, they dont get this, they can still hit you for up to their max damage. Talk about balance, there is none for Character Class NPC's. You are much nerfed as compared to them. If you want a solo'ing challenge there, go find the widow mistress and say 'Hi!'. She's a rogue and will be more than happy to demonstrate her roguish skills on ye! Best Wishes -Clangdin
Heck, there's always bard NPCs. They conveniently forget that they have songs, and just girlie-slap you. If you're feeling like picking on an NPC, go after Cordelia Minster in NK. :)

I was in Najena last night...ALL night, killing everything in sight, all the named mobs too, and everything behind locked doors. Killed them multiple times (except najena of course). No bloodstained at all.
I'm starting to believe that A)These are legends only, which means we wont see them for another 3 months perhaps. B)These are on test server only. Or C)These are from those GM events way back and didnt get posted till just now.
Hell, i'm still finding stuff every time i play that isnt on this site yet =)
Oh well, ill keep checkin back till someone actually has more real info.

I, too, spent a whole night in Najena (on Sol Ro)killing mages for their reagent pouches. Killed quite a few. Lost count. Lot of steins, torches, brooms and a whole slew of junk, but not a single piece of Bloodstained.
What are the Reagent Pouches for? I've destroyed lots of them because I don't know...
Maybe these are test-only drops, for the time being. i seem to recall some months ago when alla had a butt-load of new toys posted from Dragon necropolis, that all came from test server, and it was a week or two before they filtered over to live servers...
or maybe i'm just hallucinating.

I was just in Najena last weekend. Killed EVERYTHING multiple times, especially the mages, and didn't see these, or hear about anyone else getting them. Betting legends only for now
Nice boots. Just what i'm looking for. I'm at 42 wearing Kobold Hide Boots, for Tunare's sake! I refuse to pay for boots when i can earn an upgrade myself.
That being said, perhaps Felica Katgirl could come into this forum and give us all some more info as to who drops them, Legends or no, NAJENA?? Really?? blah blah blah...you know, the usual info. I'm going to head to Najena in the meantime with a couple friends and kill anything that moves in there but I'd like to know if i'm wasting my time here....

The last 2 weeks I spent lots of time in Najena getting the items for the mage focus. We killed everything in the zone several times, including all the named mobs. But I haven't seen any bloodstained items drop. Last night we got the final item (the shovel).

Well, these boots have been around a while, I believe, but Verant just decided to itemize them into current zones. There were a few GM events a long time ago that I remember, where bloodstained armor(other than tunic and mantle, of course) were awarded as prizes. Nice to see it put in as real armor and not just rare gm event prizes though.
I would like to know which mob drops this. I have been hunting in Najena for a long time now. Granted I havent consistantly hunted all the named mobs there, but I have never seen this or the leggings drop. And if they do drop, I wont leave there Until I get a set of these. They are very nice boots, if they do drop in Najena.
I have a lvl 49 ranger that is still using Dwarven Work Boots. Working in RL give me no time to go on raids during the day to get anything better. If anyone know who or where this drop please post it here so I can go camp it at night.

These boots are almost on par with Etched Ivy boots. These are magic too, so good for the wayward rogue who likes to scare people away with his physical prowess.
I can forsee a trip to najena soon. These are better than the DWBs that are farmed so heavily. Sure, it doesn't have the STR that DWBs have, but STR is easy to find, STA isn't.
Look again Erobate, Dex and Agi, not Sta.

Can anyone confirm this dropping again? because ive seen allakhazam's repost a bunch of items already listed latley wondering if this is just one of those cases with the bloodstained stuff
