Like other items he drops, this thing's name is ironic. They're certain to point out they're Grieg's boots, and the source of his stability.. yet, from looking at him, he clearly can't wear boots.
And that he is insane, so not very stable himself.

This Is a great Item for a Pally or SK, it has ok ac good STA and a fair number of HP. Buth the kicker is the channeling, as a Pally I use stun to keep argo and early in the fight while the shammys or chanters are slowing if my stuns get interupted i can loose argo and somtimes the slower dies. With the added channeling I am less likley to get interupted and there fore am less likly to loose argo.
Unless i am mistaken, hybrids can't use it.. God, people don't even think anymore before they degenerate into some "this is better for this class" rant..

dont go saying "oh this would be best for a necromancer" cuz everyone needs the extra bonus, and btw if ur at 220 channeling or whatever urs caps out at u WILL NOT be at 240, it means if ur at 200 channeling and ur channeling caps at 220 u will be at the cap..this is basically a decent ac item VI threw in for casters who needed AC, which all do at 250int/wis
I think these would be sweet for a necro. With the bony ones, its not necessairly how much mana you have, but how fast you can regen it that matters. How many hp's you have determins how long you can keep up the painful lich line. Also, the 20ac is real nice, and helps incase you throw one too many dot's or throw one early or something and the mob gets pissed atcha. ::Shrug:: just my thougt upon first glance
If Verant doesn't know what they're doing, then why do so many people keep playing this game? Yeah, I know, everyone's leaving for Asheron's Call. Oh, wait, Asheron's Call was a flop. Then they must be leaving for the Superior DAoC. No, wait, I read 2 articles confirming that game is failing too. Hmmm... Well, Verant must just be lucky then, since everyone is sure they aren't run intelligently. Or maybe they are dumb, and we're just dumber for sticking around and playing through all their terrible changes and decisions.
Not bad for a shaman since post 51 channeling is maxed at 220 not 255 and getting pounded on while casting is the bread and butter of a shaman who's job it is to slow the bad guys. Nothing like standing on the feet of a mob because of proximity resistance and dropping a slow on it.
First at all: Since last patch, doesn`t look like a jasper, now like like plate boots (And a nice chessboard type when wearing)
Also, 10 % to channeling isn“t bad at all. Since im wearing it, noticed a lot more of "you regain your concentration" messages, so, IMO, boots are cool. (Untill you have dragonslayer boots or something like that)

Ok I rarely if ever flame. Having said that..whitehalo your an idiot. 10% is a HUGE diffrence. HUGE. Think of a tank having 10% more hp at level 50, thats around 300hp. GEEZ. Before you flame an item think about the effects. Now you better log off you probably have homework to be done. SIGH
Even if you can Channel with the best of them (which you should be able to do) an extra 10% never hurt anyone. Assume your skill is 200 (I don't know what the cap is for this one) ten percent gives you (obviously) 220. That's an extra four levels worth of skill. The exact calculation may be a bit off, but an extra 10% to your skill would mean you'll be interrupted 10% less than before... no matter what your base skill is.

This kind of sucks, since you can't raise your skill past the level cap, all these will do is raise you to your level cap, and if your already there, they won't do anything for you at all.
I think the catch is that a skill can't be raised past the hard cap of 252, due to the nature of how data is stored. If you are a class whose channeling maxxes below 252, then these boots would help boost you toward that hard cap.

Not all items look like what they are suppose to be, for instance this item is suppose to be boots but looks like jasper, its just verants way of saying they have control of the game you dont :P
