Went to GF last night to hunt Avisiris. He was up when I zoned. Had spell within 5 minutes of zoning. Have camped 3 hours last night after getting spell and 3 hours tonite and still not another item dropped off of mob.

I had a similar experience. First time he popped, he had SoF on him. Ofcourse that wasn't the spell I was looking for since I'm a druid.
I've since killed him many times. Apparently there are two versions of this guy. One that's a bit tougher, can't be rooted/snared, and a regular one that drops nothing.

My brother and I did a 4 hours XP grind in The Deep near where Lhurgoz the Decayed spawns. To find this named, from Echo Cave take a left at the first fork, right at the next, and then left again to enter an S passage. The mob is at dead end, to the left of the rock pile in the middle.
It dropped Spirit of Flame twice in the 4 hour period. Kept one for myself and offered another to my guild cheap but no one wanted so it went on the bazaar. It wasn't up for long before it was sold at 15,000p.
I'm on Vazaelle server BTW.

Well, I have another mob that drops this spell: a named owlbear in Grimling Forest called Avisiris. I killed him/her (still don't know) the week of 10 August and the spell dropped. I've killed this mob about 50 times on my way to AC because he drops Gloves of the Damned every now and then and is pretty easy to kill. But this is the only time I've seen Spirit of the Flame drop. Anyhow, nobody in the baz was selling it and I assumed that a lvl 56 spell couldn't be THAT vlauable. So I put it up for sale for 1500pp and whadda ya know, it sold fast. /em slaps forehead. Anyhow, I wouldnt recommend camping Avisiris for the spell--it is probably really rare, but if you're there, kill him and you might get lucky.

I've gotten this spell twice in the last few months off the named vamp on the 2nd floor of the castle in TM - Since I go there quite a bit and have only seen it drop twice, I'm thinking it's quite a rare drop...but it IS there.
I confirm, I got the spell off Renaldok Masric in Tenebrous Mountains.
I hunt there a LOT , maybe have killed each of those vampyres 50 times, and only seen 1 Spirit of Flame drop.

This spell is not sold by a vendor. It is appearently dropped by Renaldok Masric, a named flying vampire on the second floor of the coterie castle in Tenebrous Mountains.
I killed him once today and he didnt drop it so i cant confirm anything...just combining everything into one post.

Well I know as well as other bst that this spell is one of the hardest spells to get. And low and behold i just go into bazaar window and bang saw Spirit of flame for 500pp i about **** my pants and ran faster than a ranger from a mob to get the fugger. Yes i got very lucky cause the guy selling it may not have known how rare it really is but oh well this proc owns lol

He dropped this spell every other time we killed him. He is a level 47-50 flying vampire in the tower.

This is one of rarest dropped spells for Beastlord ( along with Spirit Of Snow, Sha's Advantage and Savagery, DOH!)

The mob in TM that drops Spirit of Flame is, as stated, level 47-48. Quite killable by the time you need this spell.
Trying to find this spell and proving very frustrating after randomly hitting my hotkey 2k times in EC and Auction channel. Nobody seems to have it or know where it can be found. Also having no luck with finding Savagery and Sha's Advantage. These 3 are the only spells that cannot be found from vendors along with spirit of snow, but now that I'm almost lvl 57 dont care about getting SoS unless somone gives me a really good deal on it. Anyone have any input on where these spells can be found I would appreciate it.
