With many of the 'newbie' quests you can just hand in the items without actually being given the quest. This should then give you the xp. Try the dagger quest with Tylfon in the first chamber of the Scouts of Tunare (Rogues) guild. Give him 2 rusty daggers and 2gp. If he accepts it you'll get xp, some coin (sometimes) and a tarnished dagger. If he doesn't give you this then he'll just say that he accepts your gift on behalf of the Scouts... it's a cheap attempt even if it fails. Good luck!

I am a barbarian rogue whom was just bound to greater faydark. I went to the scouts of tunare and I can't even get a quest out of them. It sayes that they don't deal with barbarians! Sheesh! How am I going to get my backstab and dual wield when I can't practice! This game is really unnerving! I have don't nothing wrong agains the scouts of tunare yet, I pay a penalty? What gives??? If anyone can give advice, I am ALL ears!

stand behind them with sneak on and you can buy/sell and do NPC functions as if you were neutral faction to them.

Hello fellow Scouts! I can help you with your questions! It seems there are no MOBs that give you faction with the Scouts, so you have to do the quests, but they are easy enough. My faction isn't good enough with my own guild (it might be cause I'm agnostic), so I've done three out of four quests. The two easy faction raising quests are the 2daggers and 2gp one, and the pixie dust one. To do the dagger one, talk to the guy in the first room, and to do the Pixie one, talk to the guy in the back room. They are both self explanitory. Also, we are NOT THE SCOUTS OF TUNARE. The Faction name is Tunare's Scouts (Well, TunaresScouts in the game). Thanks.

What about the pixie dust quest I've herd so much about? How do you do that?

You need to do the rusty dagger quest. Which I believe is 2 rusty daggers and 2gp to the guild master of the scouts of tunare.
