At about lvl 20, you can give bandages to Joogl Honeybugger even if he scowls, since you're high enough he won't aggro on you anyway.

You gain no exp, but you DO gain the factions.
DeepPockets faction

I wasn't sure what I did, but I went to train with the DeepPockets and it said "I can not abide you and your actions" and wouldn't let me train. Then I figured out I had been grouped with a guy and we had killed the orc oracle and apprentice and turned around and there was Mooto, we thought he was an ordinary goblin so we started hacking on him. I didn't kill him, the other guy did but it must have lowered my faction too. I didn't see Moota's name on the list of NPC's that would lower your faction with the DeepPockets, and I am wondering how I can get my faction back up so I can train and do the Rogue quest? Somebody please help me!!!

i think it's ok to kill mooto, it's gunrich you have to let live...i hate the thought of a slimy runnyeye running around my forest with immunity!

Okay, I have a halfling druid that has killed Mangler and Gunrich a few too many times for them rogues. One day I went upstairs to the Fools Gold to the very top and began to med a bit. After awhile 1 of the 2 NPC halflings said something to the other. I can't remember what was said, but if you talk to Lendel Deeppockets and tell him "I will take the job" (could be something else you have to say about taking a job), he tell you some story about a halfling in the Karanas AND GIVES YOU DEEPPOCKET FACTION. All you have to do is say "I will take the job" over and over again for more and more faction. Of course this is only tested with my halfling druid so who knows how other races and classes will fair?

The correct statement is "I want the job". But the bad news is that they have NERFED it. You no longer get a faction adjustment for it
The druid carrot quest

I'm pretty sure that the carrot run from the dr00d farm to the lady in Fool's Gold raises deeppockets faction too...
How can I raise this faction?
# Nov 19 2000 at 7:17 PM Rating: Default
I am having a terrible time trying to raise DeepPockets faction. I made the horrible mistake of killing Mangler whenever he attacked me, and now all NPCs related to this faction glower at me. I've tried every one of the quests listed in an attempt to correct this, but whenever I give the necessary component(s) to the NPCs involved, each has stated, "I will do nothing to aid beings like you." How can I fix this faction when all NPCs tied to this faction refuse to assist me?

If you cannot even do the "Bandages for Honeybugger" quest (which is the one I used to raise my faction with them from dubious to indifferent), I'd say you were pretty much stuck until you can raise your faction with some of the folks in town enough to do the quest. I don't think you can raise this faction by killing anything and that means you can only raise it by questing.

Try killing the a bunch of any of the following:

Runnyeye Goblins in Misty Thicket, Runnyeye, or the Gorge
Orcs in Misty Thicket or the Commonlands
Minotaurs in the Gorge
Any of the Evil Eyes in the Gorge, named or otherwise
Muddites in the Gorge

It may be that by killing these critters you will be able to raise your faction with Honeybugger enough to perform the quest.

Good luck

Non-rogues can raise their DeepPockets faction by giving bandages (not summoned) to Joogl Honeybugger in the SE corner of Misty Thicket. Good DeepPockets faction is necessary to spawn Slaythe for the Avenger's Axe quest.
