Now a question for you Campdog.. you say one of the reasons is you belong to a horrible guild... urmmm why do you belong to them then?? Just curious.

I am 64 and got there predominantly by soloing and I not a 100 lol...although saying that this level seems to want to stick around for a while lol.. it loves me.. it just not want to move lol

Heheh I knew I wasn't gonna get away with that one. See, I joined a great raiding guild on Stromm called Remnants of Truth. Two weeks after I joined it broke up. I stuck because a lot of those who stayed were people I liked. Everyone swore they would stick and rebuild. I promised my friend, who was an officer, that I would stay as long as he did.

Over the months everyone has bailed until there are only 4 active players left. My friend has become Leader and shows no inclination to disband the guild despite my urging him to do so.

I am bound by my promise no matter how much I now regret having given it. It's not worth getting new levels and uber gear if it means my word means nothing. I know it's only a game but my word is for real.

LOL my latest ploy is talking up a guild merger. Who knows? It might even happen and when it does my promise has been kept and I might even raid again. We'll see.

/APPLAUDS camp i to have given my wotd. n the game believe it or not ppl depend on eachother. if u say u gonna do somthing n dont do it... word gets around then ur P2P chr goes to like -200\no 1 will group buff heal sell or talk to u. much the same in rl. b real. i play my toons the way i am n rl. im glad i dont die or get hurt as much out hur though LOL> my cleric cant take care of me the same way lol. but im with camp on this......

Camp, The one thing that I admire most in any person is Honour. That said I also have given my word and made some sacrifices in game and out. It is unfortuante that there are people who do not know their own honour as some do, but we deal with them when they present themselves. I have found several people who I can usually get a small group with because they know how I act and how I treat others. I rarly solo anymore (level 55 at this time) but most of my exping is with only 1 or 2 other people, usually the old world mobs are my favorate because of their low Hp's and the lower damage that they do. Really I just wanted to give you a /salute for having an excelent post and want to wish you luck.

Awwee hon you are one of few people that make me keep on returning here to this forum... You personal integrity (if I spelled that right but hopefully you know what I am trying to say) shines through on your posts.. I wish you were on my server :) as I would be honoured to have player like you around :)

If any one ever on this forum thinks you are a fool.. shame on them :P

OK BACK TO THE POINT OF THE THREAD!!!

just maxed my Virulent Paralysis last nite and from what ive seen so far is that if dont use any DD's or DoT's with DD's the root will hold for its duration and VP3 will refresh before it breaks. so as long as no DD's you can VP and DoT till its dead with no worries. only worry is initial resis on VP so just pull whatever with Malicious Decay and you SET!!!

im gonna be solo Murkgliders in WoS like a madman now. and after a couple gear upgrades and my 69curse DoT and lvl 70 psn DoT ill try my hand and solo'n PoFire. hell i might even try before then who knows. ill keep ya updated. SHAMAN POWA!!!

aight with my VP maxed i made my first attempt to solo in PoFire with my inferior gear...with success!!! VP held up just as expected and hoped. i only did once kill just to see if i could do it. had c3 and Conviction for canny purposes and a cushion. with cann5, Pained Memory, and mount it wasnt any more mana intensive as any other that we solo for comparable xp. i had it on AA xp and got almost 12pct for the kill. i hope to spend more time solo in fire and g'luck to those that attempt it.

also...anybody know of any good blue server(non PvP). with the merger sony is going to allow free xfers from Zek for 30 days. im sadly debating it. im not too happy with the rule set for the new server and i need help finding a new home possibly. thanks in advance. SHAMAN POWA!!!

I seem to remember seeing a cross-server guild recruiting forum on one of the class boards, but I can't find it atm.
