wow! it's great to see someone on here that's NOT buying plat and bazaar whoring their toon. 8)
not sure what to suggest on this one.
there is always Thurg or Kael quest armor. with nobody hunting Temple of Veeshan anymore Kael is pretty much out of the question.
i would recomment you try to find a big guild in Kael taking down Vindi. he drops a very nice BP. my 67 Paladin is STILL wearing his in fact. yeah... i suk. but dont let people hammer you on gear.
first and foremost, LEVEL.
there is some SWEET gear you can buy with DoN crystals. takes a lot of missions, but if you were into the LDoN you should easily move over to DoN version. gear is MUCH better and doesn't require as many wins i think.
other than this i'm not really sure what to suggest to you 8(
there is a very nice BP that drops in BoT, but you need 62 to get into there unless you can get flagged for it.
one other option tho is to start hunting in Rathe Mountains. you'll still get xp up to around 51/54. somewhere in there. and, if you really need the money, why not? gotta do what you have to do 8)
you should be able to find partners/groups at 39 i think 8)

The new DoN cultural armor is very nice "if you get the augs to go in it" and pretty reasonable. Best thing to do is farm with your shammy or use them to make plat casting buffs and buy some for your Pally.
i take my pally to CoM (city of mist) the names drop nice newbie items thats good till lvls 50+ and are easy to get.
Most of the names are in that temple on the right side as you enter.
