Sorry Gillwenda, But as per usual, SoE has smacked us pally's down again. In thier effort to balance classes, they appear to be balancing them all on the Pally's chest! While I love my Pally dearly, he has become almost usless in a group environment, and of course, it has been a long time since we could solo. All I can suggest is that if enough of us complain via /feedback, we may become a viable class again, if not I fear we are destined to become extinct.

Necrophobe, I`m only quoting the stats that were on the spell itself when I clicked on it in game (in the combat envronment) - the effect of the spell was visably down which is what prompted me to look in the first place. If this was a temporary glitch I`ll happily reinstate this spell to my working `Heal & Stun` spell list - but when I wrote the original post the stats on Lucy were not in action. I`ll check it out tonight when I play - I haven`t looked at this spell since this day so things might have been put right.

btw did you actually check out the spell itself in EQ or are you assuming Lucy is infallible ? I`d obviously have no complaints at all if the Lucy stats are what I get !!

I confirmed this the day it was implemented. I was lvl 62 at the time as well. Heals for 630, for basically the same amount of mana. Sad day to see our most usefull heal for the time go down the tubes.

I think that thread was focussing on the higher spells (piety etc) and they missed the lower one Necro. The spell was definately showing the same stats & healing for the lower amount last night.

And no apologies required Necro - I`ll admit to being largely focussed on what I see in EQ itself and don`t read around the subject thoroughly enough.

Next question then... if you say this is a bug what chance do you think we have that it wil be reinstated to the stats shown on Lucy ? (... I`ll pause here until you all stop laughing)

First, I would contact your class correspondant and have him post it on the SoE forums. The data from lucy comes from SoE itself. This means that there is something wrong with the in-game mechanics that is adversely affecting this one useful spell.

just to finish off this thread, I am delighted to say the spell is behaving as per the Lucy stats (but the description on the spell itself is still incorrect, so don`t be put off). It was definately healing for 1220 on a guildy last night.

Thanks to Necro for telling me how to follow this up.

The heal never did change. There was a mistake in the text during the May patch where they accidentaly changed the description to saying the amount changed. The effect, however, never changed.
