I'm about two thirds done this spell quest but am curious, now that Castle Mistmore is a lvl 63+ zone...is there an easier way to complete this spell quest without having to find a group of lvl 70ers to hold my hand or should I just wait until the next PROC spell at lvl 63?

I came back from a 6 month break from EQ to do this quest as the first thing. I walked down the path and Mistmoore and got raped by the level 65 mobs.
I researched on the net for any information regarding the spell and found nothing, so I bought it on the bazaar for an undoubtedly inflated price.
Proc hits for 65 at level 50 and hits all mob types. I prefer it for my spell dps proc along with my heated blade augment proc, as the instrument of nife is only against undead.

Drop is no loner in Mistmoore. It has been moved to a location somehwere near the Dark Elf camp in Lfay.

im a lvl 59 pally. when i did this quest i found on this site that the drop that was in mistmoore is now ontop of one of the stones in the druid circle (the one that is in the middle slanted just slightly enough for you to walk up). Also if i were you i would take a tracker to KK and wait till hinney is NOT up b4 you try to get the peice from his room. Hope this helps.
Yes, that quest piece is on TOP of the slanted pillar in old druid circle. I can tell you that this spell is worth it. with above average Dex, It procs about 5-8 times on a lvl 42 mob, and more so on higher level mobs. With a good, quick 1hs/ shield (bash) combo, you shred through mobs:)
