Classes: The Rogue

Rogues - Masters of Stealth. With a variety of completely unique skills, and a fighting style all their own, rogues can be one of the more difficult classes to learn to develop and play correctly.

How should you play your rogue to best take advantage of his strengths and weaknesses? What skills are the most useful, and what is the best way to use those skills? Can a rogue be soloed, and if so how? How should you play your rogue in a group? What equipment should you be searching for?

Post your strategies on how to best play and develop the Rogue and read, rate and comment on what others have to say.

This game is gonig to hell in a barbie dream car. Froglok rogues?!!? yeah like big flopping feet are very stealthy. For goodness sake I thought barbarians were a stupid idea for a rogue class.
What mob is not going to hear a big "FROOOAKKKKK" as the stupid frog tries to sneak past them. /slaps forehead

i have a 19 froggy rogue now, and i love it, fun class and fun race. But rogue starting guide on eqcastersrealm says that str is most important for rogues; since dps is most important part of being a rogue ( so they say ). so is agi and dex really the most important charactaristics ( even though the character creation screen in eq makes agi and dex highlighted in green )?
any experienced rogues out there want to comment on most important stats when making a rogue?

I would not put two points into strength as starting stats!
That is one of the easiest attributes in the game to raise to cap.

Just my 2cp.

not true at all. my 70 rogue was decked out in full DoN gear, with a few other DoD pieces and RSS rots... and his str wasnt even over 255. sta was 322 though heh.. put as many as you can into str, and the remaining into dex or agi
