I am going to start a post.. having trouble finding any good posts about soloing to 65 and AAs and such so I am going to do it. Please feel free to add your 2cp.. First off, when you create a new necro, look for mana items. The extra mana is a great help and most mana items have Int also.

1-12 Any newbie area. Steamfont is nice, plus from 8-12 you can do the skeletons for bone chips.
12-20 Kurns Tower/FoB area. Again, more bone chips
20-29 Been a while, cant remember what i did for these levels.
29-49 The Overthere. Learn to aggro kite. I was able to take 2-3 mobs at a time aggro kiting. When you summon a pet, turn off taunt. DoT with darkness and best DoTs. Try not to use too much mana, but make sure you have aggro, then just run around. Have your pet attack the mobs while you are running around. Make sure you purchase some SoW potions, the speed helps.
49-52 Dulak. I have been soloing in Dulak but im finding it to be kind of slow. Going to try Maidens Eye to see how that exp fairs. The stalkers in PoN seem to be good exp, but just about everytime i go there, someone has camp. If you do decide to take the stalker, be careful for adds, there are many in the rocks that will aggro when you pull one. Also have tried Natimbi, exp also seems fair, but again, adds will get ya.

Please someone complete the hunting list. I, as well as others, need assistance.

I found at 55+ POD is a good place to solo. the mobs are tough there but with a virtue you should be alright. go to the island straight out from the GY where you enter. you'll see a large boulder near a beach. this is camp, get out pet and get him buffed and give him a couple daggers to backstab with. then you can pull mobs from either side of the boulder. not sure on the direction of the flys but those are the ones you want to pull. fear kyte them as you would with any other mob and you'll notice the fear wears off just before he reaches the pops where you pulled him from. be sure not to fear until he is at least as far as the boulder. make sure you resfresh darkness at least once in your bombardment of dots because when fear goes he'll run back for you. when they get back to the rock a second time there dead. you can hit them with a DD if you want for good measure but it's not neccessary. these mobs got alot of hp's but there good exp and a good necro solo spot for 53+

From lvl 56 - 59 fear kite Blood Ravens in PoN and aggro kite Three Trees (Treants) that are nearby. Uber XP. Once you hit 59-60 go to Gargoyle Camp. I went to camp at lvl 59 and soloed there til 63. Uber XP. After that, go to SE Basement in HoH til
lvl 65. Very good Xp. HoH (Halls of Honor) base is extremely easy and OUTSTANDING Xp.

Agro kiteing at the "outer" camp in PoV is very simple, would be even easier for me if i had funeral pyre...

My favorite is to Duo with a dru for long snare (Im lazy) works very well, they pull with snare, you land Dark Plauge, then funeral pyre, splurt, pet, cessation of cor if you want. very good xp and very easy

20-29 I suggest you hit up Echo Caverns. Your target, Needlites.

The one spell that is necessary here is Banshee Aura. You will be meleeing with your pet.

When you get in to the needlite room run to the left, make sure you are invised. In the bottom left corner is where you will be pulling. Their are 7 mobs in this room. 3 on the left and 3 on the right. The 3 on the left you can pull with out fear of adds. The one on the right you can pull too with out adds but there are two in the back that will add if you pull them. Leave them alone until you hit 24, FD pulling doesnt work because they are very very fast mobs and Jober is an idiot.

When you get here buff up with Spirit Armor, Sheilding, and Banshee Aura. Give pet Focus Death and Spirit Armor.

Pull the one closest to you with Darkness, occasionally they will resist, just send in Jober and re apply the darkness. When they are darknessed run at them so that your pet gets agro on them from you getting hit. Melee then until about 50% and back off and Life Tap them once or twice. Your Damage shield eats these guys up. They hit REALLY fast but don't hit for more then 20 and occasionly hit for their max. This is a great camp for Defensive Upgrades. Make sure you re apply darkness as their pathing takes them right into the Wormspore trap.

These guys are on a 15 minute timer if I remember correctly and when you clear the camp you will have plenty of time to med until the next one spawns. At 24 attempt the back two by mezzing one with Screaming Terror, the other will come at you. By the time you kill the first mob the second one will be un mezzed, just kill it.

Great exp here and easy too. Loot is Needlite Wings and Legs, they are uncommon and sell for 2pp 5gp a piece. Occasionally a Needlite Queen will spawn, she drops a Giant Needlite Wing and sometimes a dagger. I don't know how much they sell for because I used them on my Necro(heh I sucked). I would usually get a stack of legs and wings before I would leave for one reason or another.

At 29 I agro kited in OT. Great exp but loot is boring and goons suck(if you're an ikky like my self). Just be careful of goons here. If your mob suddenly drops from 70% to 50% you just FD. If a goon walks up on you while medding send in your pet and FD, he should be able to take two or 3 hits before biting the dust. This is great exp but there are other options. I stayed here until 34 because I got bored.

At 34 I suggest you do the Druids at the druid portal in Western Commonlands, about 2% a kill at 34 and 1-2% a kill at 35+. Sure this may seem trivial but the loot is great. Every druid drops up to 5pp, up to two fine steel weapons, and a long bow that sells for 2pp and some times a gem. I made 400pp in one yellow of exp while I was here. Here's how you do it.

At the druid ring there are 2 druids that you will be fighting, they con blue and are only doable at 34. There is a 3rd druid but she is indifferent to an iksar and cons red, don't mess with her and she won't mess with you, she is a great place to drop off your loot.

Alright, you're going to want to split them. Cast invoke fear on one and it will go running off at Sow speed. Darkness the other and send in pet, then Fear it and nuke it down with Shock of Poison and Life Taps. Usually takes about three or four nukes to bring it to 20. Just remember to keep the male feared because he heals and is very annoying. Take them down fast because the damage sheild can eat up your pet. When you get the mob dead run back to top of hill and FD. Your fear should be wearing off right when you FD. Wait for the druid to come back to the spawn spot and get out of FD and med for 1 minute. Then do the same you did for the other and congratulations, you just split the camp. You will make killer loot and get decent exp until 38 if you wish.

Another option at 34 is Gunthak, about 2% exp a kill until 40 and easy stuff. Go to where the mob for the Temperance Quest is and pull there. If she is not up just keep killing here until she spawns. Once she does you have a large safe area. Pull with Darkness, cast hungry earth, Eternites Torment(29 undead dot) and Shock of Poison. Re apply Root when it wears and just med. No pet. Occasionally hit them with Vampiric Curse and they will fall no problem and I have never had an add here. Only time I had an add was when I was re applying root and backed into a mob, other then that they aren't social. Just watch out for Niktitks, mosquitos, and Cast out survivors, they arent undead.

At 40 do Echo Caverns, fear kite anything that cons blue. Also, at 44 you can fear kite effectivly in Dreadlands. I would post guides for these places but really they are just like Overthere minus the goons. At 49-55 I highly recommend doing the Felwithe Guards. Extremely nice EXP and loot, I got from 49 to 55 with 6 aa's in about 3 or 4 days here, killer exp and amazing loot. I would post a guide for Felwithe but it will be as long as, if not longer then this post.

Well for the 24-32 range I found that I was getting reasonable xp soloing the guards in High Keep. If you don't mind the qyenos faction hit and are into a balance of loot vs xp it pans out well. After several levels I found myself with over 2K pp and oh yeah the levels. I pulled them into the entry courtyard and focused on the 1st floor guards later moving to the second floor. There is one merchant in the rooms behind Guard Dister that will buy and sell to you but does not have any food or necessaties. The merchant is Tarn _______?

Guard drops are <1-6pp and some change they always have a FS Shortsword (5+pp) and then occasionally Words for spells.

Have fun hunting.

I've levelled my Necro from 20-24 at OT. About half solo, half group. You can work on the mobs on the North shoreline and around the entire Northern part of the zone. They'll be db starting around 20. Many remain dark blue at 24. Aggro kiting is effective and mana efficient. Fear kiting is pretty good, too, as the adds aren't too bad. Possible to pick up occasional groups here if you want. After about 24 - 25, you can start to move south.

The bonus here is that the drops are very lucrative. You can score both good xp and loot. The cockatrices and cacti drop generously. The low level Sarnaks generally drop nothing. If you need to med, the PoK book is a pretty safe area, and I've been lucky medding on top of the large rocks.

Avoid the chasm until higher level.

well... i think that your guide is quite solid, for those that are above 51.

from 49 to 54 go to HHK and do the bards/nobles on the second floor...
to do this... Clear the guards around the bard/noble camp, if you dont they will add in a fight, these guys are green and really just annoy the heck out of you. keep the swords they sell for 5pp a peice.
to pull just root the 2nd mob and snare the one that comes running after you. take it to the end of the hall way and fear pet can take the nobles druing the time fear is on, however i would put EB on the bards....

From 54-58 go to PoN and solo the yard trash by the side of the house

Just tell your pet to guard and pull make sure u turn off pet taunt, once u have the mob to 95% send your pet in why u keep running around. try and sit when u can. DO NOT FEAR this will get u 2 or more mobs and you will be forced to train the Grave Yard.

From 58-63 do the PoStorms frogs

there are 7 spawns each kill gives u 1/2 a blue (2%) regular exp, generaly its a 1 person camp, there just arent enough for 2 unless the person doing them is generous, try and share with a few people when u hold the camp, this will get them to reciprocate.(sp sorry =)

During your 62-63 stage leave your LFG up. try for BoT (bastion of thunder) and HoH (halls of Honor) groups. make sure u put up PoV and LDoN up as well, during the 60+ game LDoNs give 1 yellow exp an adventure which is pretty good and its a good break from the frogs

Level 54(ish) go to Plane of Mischief zone in and pull the forest - Sow and Virtue are a plus - (after Demi Lich it gets much faster)

Single pull bixies, mushrooms, mushroom men, and skunks with dooming darkness then dot(s), agro kite with 51 backstabbing (taunt off) pet, or root rot with pet backup.
Don't let snare drop - reapply it anticipating at least one resist.

Nothing sees invis except a few "named" - off hand I recall "an irritating mushroom" and "maddening mushroom man" and "Bzzibuzzana" as nameds in forest.

Lots of room to agro kite all around the forest near the walls.

FYI: I found skunks to resist snare most often and avoided them unless nothing else was up to pull.

I am still there at 57 and experience is good with almost no competition for mobs. Only loot in forest is a few research words/pages/runes and gold coins.

Helpful hints levels 4-8 + 1k pp for an iksar necro

Go to the Spiderling ruins its to the north of Cabilis enterance and West of the pit. kill Spiderlings destory Giant Wood spider parts keep the rest. (silks, legs, eyes, etc). When you fill up go sell all but silks. Repeat until you no long get exp from spiderlings or you are filled with stacks of silks. Either case go to Bazaar PC Spiderling silks on Fiona Via and Bristlebane they go from 10-25. I usual sell for 15 pp and walk over to the bazaar bank over loaded with pp.

If not yet 8 lvl go kill bonecrawler spiders for spider silks 1-5pp each.

1 place is all you need after 59 hell level: Plane of Storms Frogs. 8%aa per kill and 3-4% per reg exp. Soloable at 59 but not recommended as they take a crap load of mana to kill with the level 59- spells. Arch lich, dooming, Emissary, splurt, funeral, pyro, and vexing= dead frog ubah exp low resist rate on dooming is better than the ugly resist rate on the outer camp in PoV. Pull them at the far end of the area. the place were the swirling watever is. he doesnt aggro and you will have easier time and LOTS of space for error if froggy gets resistant. In a few hours i got 10aa's and dont plan on leaving until i have all tier 1 aa points. With new expansion PoS is very empty so i dont even have to yell at peeps for stealing my frogs =) And there are about 10 frogs =) you do the math lol =)

From 44 to 49 kill spectres in OoT. Easy to get to now since they took the boats out and zero competition. Slows down a little at 48 but still not bad. To break the camp just numb 3, snare and fear one, sic pet on it. Repeat till all dead. Fast respawn rate, can make 300 plat an hour or better. At 49, go to Nurga and take the first three named camps after the waterfall drop off. The first room has 1 roamer and 2 static spawns. Go past that room into the hallway and pull the roamer. You can fear kite these guys, there is enough hallway space to kill them before they aggro more. Once the roamer is dead, you can work on the 3 named camps - Miner Gribok, Spirit Weaver Tramix, and Life Drinker Krador. All can be pulled with InsidRetro without aggroing more, but they do aggro if pet is beating on a goblin too close to another goblin. The exp is absolutely crazy, I went from 49 to 52 in approx 6 hours. No bs. You make 1 yellow bar per clearing at 49 and 50, 3 blues a clearing at 51. Slows down a ton at 52, about 1 - 1.5 blue per clear. Respawn rate is 15 minutes or so. Make sure to get some pet toys, as the weapon procs make for even faster kills.

I'm fond of undead areas, of course, so I have a few suggestions.

48-53 - Lower Guk dead side. With undead lull, slow and nuke, along with the new tank pet and your mez you can start in the "safe hall" underneath the dropoff and work into the corridors leading to each of the undead named mobs. Good exp and cash loot, not too hard except that it may be tricky getting to the dead side and there's a possibility of being swarmed - remember this, they're undead but they run! So snare em.

50s - Veksar
I always hated the run (through FV from the PoK stone and up the waterfall) but it's a great place. Invis past the gobbies (or kill em if you feel up to it - might need to root rot since the area's a bit tight for kiting) and work on the undead up the planks in the cubbyholes. All in separate rooms and single pullable, just slow DoT and feed to pet. Careful of the Crusaders (I think) because they HT. Sometimes they'll even snare and/or fear you or pet.

Charasis - Howling Stones
Need to get a key, which is easy enough by the time you're 50. The entrance can be a bit tricky at first killing the two roamers but it gets better. With a mix of live and undead mobs you need to mix up your strategies, but once you get it down it's great exp.

Following with the undead area theme, Tower of Frozen Shadow can provide great fun keying and soloing, if you can handle the casters. www.eqatlas.com is a great resource for getting zone strategy down once you've picked your zone to exp.

55-63 Solo'n for GREAT exp. <Agro Kite'n>

Been solo'n since level 1 mainly, because you cant beat getting all the exp and all drops. :) I would recommend solo'n in Noble's Causeway. There is really only one Great necro camp here.<DS murks> This camp TOTALLY ROCKS for exp. And if you are luckey, you might loot some good gear as well as slugworms.

I pull with Funeral Pyre, then snare, send pet in and then unload on him with almost every dot. <Snare doesnt always take when casted first here.> Run and sit down and med while murk gets rearended by your dot's. :) I have even got a small kitchen timer set to my snare so I know when to recast Devouring Darkness. This is truely the most important part of solo'n this camp. If you get touched by these mobs, you most likely will remember it. So keep them under control.

This's exactly where I needed to be at 53. I've kited about 15 mobs so far and I can tell you this:

pros:
no roamers.. all mobs are stationary, untill you attack them
plenty of room to kite at the entrance
2-3% exp per kill at lvl 53
no spell casters

cons:
junk loot, if any
some mobs hit for up to 300 dmg
They some times resist snare(skunks seemed to resist the least)
With the most recent dots for a lvl 53, some of the mobs would take up to 2000 mana to kill. That's about 1000 more then if I was at Dranik's Scar still.

This's definetly the place to be for a necromancer around 53+.

ok its not said here but at 49-53 go to cobalt scar. aggro kite the wyverns. uber exp i was getting 1-2 gold ticks a kill out there. just snare and poison dot then sick pet on it with taunt off and you can kite all day. best part is gems that drop out there sell for about 50pp each and people buy the hides for 100pp in barter. usually pretty camped so try to get out there real early morning or late night when not to many peeps on.

once you are in the mid to upper 20s and exp starts sucking in north part of Overthere, just step east one zone to Warslik's Woods. Head north to the water and then east a bit to the tunnel. It's marked on your map. The brutes in there are great exp. for you and drop gems sometimes. Some wander and some are static. The wanderers can be single pulled pretty easily, and the stationary mobs in the end rooms can be split via rooting one on edge and using FD once the add has chased you a little ways. Stand back up and snare mob, run off, dot him, fear him, and send in the pet. You'll get used to the pathing and such pretty quick, and I found the experience very nice. Only drawback is no NPC to sell your loot to right there. But by the time you wanna sell your stuff, you should be ready to gate to POK for a new temperance anyway...

Just my bit... Necrumbar
