Download the LOY cartography maps from eq-toolbox. The loc of the ring is marked on the map.
I wanted to investigate this quest for my guild, but have not been able to find the ring of torches. Could someone please help me out with a loc ? That would be greatly appreciated.

If the Freakin' Vah Shir Wouldn't die all the time, their possessed corpses wouldn't be walking around killing everyone. Stop dying! We can nip this in the bud!

This MOB is labeled Type: Monster. Shouldn't this be labled Type: Undead? or Summoned?

Your seeing that right. That skeleton has a Vah Shir cat skull.

Not to mention the tail. I think it's reasonable to assume that the possessed corpse is that of a Vah Shir.
