Its possibly a little sad that I just took him down with a 52 BST and 52 RNG with cleric mercs. Clerics were almost full mana after the fight.
Mostly Intricate defiant armour and resists close to 150-200 across the spectrum. Using Spider's Bite poison but it was resisted every time.
Ranger spells (Swarm of Pain and Stinging Swarm) worked and so did Ice spells (Icewind and Frost Shard) but no BST DoTs or slows. Immune to Stun. Immune to snare and wanders off at 10%.

This mob was totally 100% resistant to POISON spells (I know that's a shock to some of you....riiiight). I think everything else stuck pretty well. I was necro dotting it for hubby's bst who didn't have problems with hitting it with 56 bst ice spells.
Did this today with my lvl 56 Bst and lvl 68 Necro friend. dude dropped like a rock in about 90 seconds. Resisted all my spells though, pets beat the crap outa him lol.

this guy went down hard and fast with my 66 bst got totem, next, line up 3 to go,lol : )

has aprox 32k hp and does 36dps the spells are easy resists with over 150 resists dropped him in 65 seconds spells never landed

Killed this New Years eve night, had 2 54 rogue, 53 ranger, 55 war and a 60 somthing druid + me 58 bst. It did not go so well, druid go argo right off the bat and went down then ranger then me and one other before the others got it down. Pretty high vs on him, slow never heald and druid snare/root wouldent take hold. Make sure you take your group to him and not him to the group, the snare will kill u trying to pull if it sticks. Hit for 225 max and low hps. If we would have been together it would have went fine.
66 Beastlord with 162 AA's. This mob is so easy to solo it's pathetic. With Ferocity all my resists were between 198 and 280. Piece of cake.

I solod this big guy with my 63 beastlord. it was tough but my pet had my buffs virtue all the pet toys available to him, and i had kei virtue focus and spiritual purity. Just had my pet tank while the only thing i could do was disempower and dot him, i just sat out of his aoe range and healed my pet until i was oom then my pet was at like 5percent and i went into battle. I am gimpy i probably had 4k hit points. I popped my protective spirit disc then when that ran out i popped bestial frenzy then i was at 25percent hit points and out of mana.. luckily for me he ran under 20 percent hit points was a tough and challenging fight. didnt think i could do it but i was very surprised when he ran. He was my first one to kill.

Me (62 Bst) and a 55th Bst duo'ed this last night with nothing but my buffs, let the pets tank it to about 30% and then headed in to battle ourselves, it was close, fight finished with no pets and me at 10% and the 55 at 48% but we still did it =)
Edit: my epic was entirely duo'ed with me and a 65 druid (I was 58 at the time)

that's the big aligator that need high MR, this one does AoE poison

Did this one with a 65 bst who tanked, myself (52 bst) and a 56 cleric. Kept cleric out of aoe range and other bst tanked while I hit it from behind. Spider dropped within a minute or so.

BL friend of mine brought me and 3 groups for this single mob.... fight was like 15 seconds....
healers didnt even need to heal...

Have bard play magic resist song and everything is easy. Did entire epic with this group except the final fight where I replaced Bard and Ranger with Mage and Wizard

Me and a 65 BL raped this mob. I died but she managed to knock off last 2%. This is by far the easiest out of all Beast Epic spirits.

helps if you can get everyone besides the main tank behind him, AE effect seems to only be in front of the mob. It wears off quickly anyhow though. We did it with me 55 bst, 54 pally, 55 war as main tank, 50 rog, 58 clr, 54 monk, and a 64 enchanter. wasnt that bad, pretty fun actually.

Scout Ahlikal is located just East of the druid rings loc 374, -2440. We used the information we found at http://eq.crgaming.com/epics/beastlord.asp . The mob spawns in the far North-East corner of the zone in the middle of a large rock formation.

we pounded this guy good with 1 full group:

We had no problem takin him out. We had the cleric buff everyone up (MR+PR+DMF+ some resist gear if you have it... EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to have all defenses against poison)Once the beasty turned in the items our MT, 62 pally, ran to the stone structures as the GIGANTIC spider popped. This ******* is almost, if not, is the size of a dragon... i almost pinched off a brick when i saw him spawn. We had trouble getting into melee with him because he spawned on top of one of the stone structures... so i ran up the zone wall (DMF+SoW) and flew on floated on top of the structure with the MT and we pushed him off. Once he was on the ground he was a piece of cake. I resisted every one of his AoEs so im not sure just how long it lasts... but others in the group said it faded very quickly. He fell quickly... cleric was still 4m.
I hope this information helps any beasties out there workin on their epic. GL! LOL im thinkin of tryin to spawn him again just to check out how big he is and get a good screenshot... HUGE *******!
