As of PoR, my horse doesn't have ears. They nolonger pop up when you ride. :( I loved this and wish they had made it optional.
Selling Back Bridle

You sell them back by handing them to Galic Amondson in the stables. He gives you a bag of plat which you then sell to a merchant.

Sayin horses suck is just totally rude and hurtful first of all maybe some people "like me" would rather be riding a Horse then some creepy lizard. And second of all Horses are way cuter.. and more people have Drogs its cooler to stand out heh.

# Jan 30 2004 at 6:39 AM Rating: Decent
Which NPC do you sell it back to and how?
I have tried to sell it just like you do everythign else but it will not buy it...somebody told me to hand it to one of the NPC in the stall and it will give ya a token or something that you sell back to the vendor for pp...anyone able to tell me how to sell it back..

#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 19 2004 at 2:32 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Just so everyone knows ...... DONT EVER BUY A HORSE!!! Buy a Drogmor instead. The horses big fat head partially blocks your view and is a targetting nightmare. Drogmor heads dont block your view and are every bit as fast as horses. HORSES REALLY, REALLY SUCK!!!

i noticed that the color of the bridle also contributes to the cost. i know that the type (i.e. rope, leather, chain, etc.) has something to do with the speed. does the color also indicate a difference in the percentages?

No, black and white horses just cost more because people want them more. Usually, good aligned people will want a white horse and evil aligned will want a black one. They're more of a status symbol... and besides, if they were the same cost nobody'd ever buy brown and tan.

What if you sold your lawn mower to your neighbor and after he uses and abuses it for a year, would you still want to pay full price for it back?

Though I thought it was a cute saying from Hiklo Amondson when I sold him my tan bridle:

"Hmmmmm, I can't give you much for this one Wendere. Looks like he's a little past his prime..."

Ole Betty and I have seen alot of battles, now she gets to spend here remaining years grazing the pastures of Karanas.

From all that I have read, the absolute most you will ever be refunded is about 68% to 70% of the purchase price, even with a Charisma of 255.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 29 2002 at 1:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Who in the hell made the bridles no-drop!?!? A level 60 wanderer was going to just give me one! GIVE like for FREE! #REDACTED, Posted: Jun 12 2002 at 10:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) They suck because the only have 25% Sow and are not as fast as JBoots like players say the are! It's all BS. Dont wast your Plat......go for the Leather series of Bridles! It will cost you around 30kpp but worth it!
