Spell: Arc of ArrowsI was having problems with Pathfinder Arelat giving me the books also. He kept saying he did not trust me. After much troubleshooting..I discovered that I had not given the wrapped head back to Niera. Give her heads until she gives you a head back that is a two slot head..hehe. It is called a, "mangled head". Then you can go to the necro in pok and talk to her..finally the Pathfinder will give you the books and you can go on about your business.

I also am having problems getting this guy to give me the books, is this something you have to work faction for or is it a matter of being a certain lvl? if anybody knows, i would greatly like to know, thanks
Although this response is a little late, after having just gotten the books I would have to say that there is no faction required. I believe it's simpy a matter of completing the quest in order and using the correct prompts. I first met with the Gravelady:
You say, 'Hail, Gravelady Beddia'
You say, 'What diseases of the skin?'
You say, 'What sacrifice?'
Then find Pathfinder Arelat in POK library.
You say, 'Hail, Pathfinder Arelat'
You say, 'What is the Corruption of the Night?'
You say, 'It is worth it.'
You get your books and give them to the Gravelady. She says nothing, but you get your plant book to give to Niera.
You say, 'Hail, Gravelady Beddia'
You say, 'What diseases of the skin?'
You say, 'What sacrifice?'
Then find Pathfinder Arelat in POK library.
You say, 'Hail, Pathfinder Arelat'
You say, 'What is the Corruption of the Night?'
You say, 'It is worth it.'

Im afraid I have the same problem. After I talk to Gravelady Beddia I hail Pathfinder Arelat and he gives me the text. But then when I tell him that, "it is worth it." he says he doesn't belive me. Anyone know how this can be fixed?

I had the same problem. On http://eq.thedruidsgrove.org/epic/ they say that you have to have the head from the previous step on you to get the books. I was trying to get ahead as not enough of my friends were on to attempt the Swamp Terror. Hope that helps and good luck.

What Faction is he? After i give him text for druid epic he says "I am afraid I do not see honesty in your eyes I cannot give you the texts you seek." I have never been kos or did anything against a ranger or druid.

Ok. Loc of Pathfinder Arelat is Pos 110.80, Pos 823.15, Altitude: Pos 67.14.

As we're all rangers that are looking for her and we have track, it's not TOO hard to find her. Sorry I don't remember what floor she is on, that of course being the problem with finding her (when I go back for Burning Arrow I'll edit and post exactly where she is).
A bit of advice before you head in though, pick someone near the door in to track to find you way out of the library as that is MUCH harder than getting in and finding her, especially if you run up and down the various floors trying to figure and which one she's on and forget which floor you came in on.... not that I'm speaking from the voice of experience or anything.
