Another one of EQ's bullsh1t undercons.
Got up all resists to 550 and fully buffed, we tried to stay in range of about 150 away to get the AE Heals off but to no awhile. The 6k-AE hit the most, some resisted but only a small amount of time. His AE is really a pain in the back. I don't know if they changed something since last patch but we don't get him in distance or with max resists (War,Rog,Bst,Enc,Clr,Dru all 75).... any hints without wizard and in this constellation?

So, quite a few people have been asking where this guy happens to be located, so here is the location on where to find the Frenzied Shadowmanespawns:
NEG 642.44, POS 164.62, POS 56.73
Also, if you were to look at the map of Loping Planes, you would see entrance to the Bloodmoon Keep. If you keep running North a little ways, you will come across a small gathering of Shadowmanes that are gathered around tents, with what looks
like dead Shadowmanes. You don't have to worry about those, they wont cause you any trouble whatsoever.
Keep the entire place cleared, every time something spawns, kill it, but the
Frenzied Shadowmane will ONLY spawn at the location I gave above which I'll give again: NEG642.44, POS164.62, POS56.73.
He's on a random spawn timer, so sometimes he'll spawn quite often, other times, your best bet, is to just clear the other camps around him to kill time.
I hope this helps you guys find him, and execute him cause I've done it so many times and have looted many of his goodies, enjoy@@

His 6k AE DD has a range of 100 so about half of max casting range, still, a few people are likely to get hit by it. He only has about 80k health but the DD goes off every 3 seconds. I took a group of seven people to kill him assuming it would be overkill, most at least partially demi geared. We were slightly sloppy and not everyone tried to avoid the AE. THREE clerics came. The puller died, and two of the clerics were below 20% health by the time he died. BL tanked him, and my wizard burned the crap out of him. It was rather unpleasent as quick as it went. I would have manaburned had I known he was going to be so ridiculously difficult for being a normal mob.
My ideal recommendation if going there just to kill him and not camp there would be to bring two or three wizards, have one with the highest ranked manaburn cast it on inc, and have any other wizard chain cast ethereal incineration/conflagration and/or flashfires. The faster he dies the better. Spike damage ftw.

Casts the 6kdd AE Crazed Shout Effect frequently.
He is at the camp just north of the bridge to Bloodmoon Keep. All three times he spawned for us he was at the middle tent. Dropped mask each time.
Wizzy's 47.5K Volatile Mana Blast dropped him to about 25% so he doesn't have a lot of hit points, but the 5.6K AE hits a lot. Anyone with resists lower than 300 is probably going to die. We found the best success was having chanter cast rune on everyone, also Legion of Qandieal, then having cleric chain group heal till he was dead.

Dunno where he is, but he ain't there...I was at that camp when a buddy had him at another camp.

His Location please if possible. There are several different camps of the Shadowmanes in the zone. which one? haven't seen him spawn..and the camp is always cleared. So far i know 4 different little camps of the Shadowmanes...a discription of the camp or a Loc to which camp this Frenzied Shadowmane spawns please. Thanks all.

Didn't check the location yet, but from Bloodmoonkeep you have to cross the river, heading north. Behind the humps, you will find a shadowmane camp. There it spawns.

Just a side note, he has a 5.6k AE. It would of been nice to know 1st time lol.

AE is called Crazed Shout Effect. Think I resisted it every time with my MR at 460.

After camping this guy some more, it looks like his level is between 77 and 78.

This spawns at the Shadowmane camp, but you have to kill all the Shadowmanes that are under the tents, and then he has a random spawn time.

Where does he spawn? the camp where lurren(quest guy) i only see 2 names that spawn there, totemcaller and Champion...Does Frenzied Shadowmane spawn there? I also camped the other shadowmane camp on the other side of the zone...nothing yet.
