Our item collector is a program that is ran with Everquest in order to import and updates items on the site. This guide will hopefully answer some questions you may have regarding the program.

Item collector is only known to run on Windows XP, 7, Server 2012 and 10. It should run on even older operating systems.
For those running on Windows 10, make sure to see the Winpcap section below.
To install the program you can download it here.
Run the setup.exe and follow the prompts. If you already have winpcap installed then ignore the prompt to install it. If you are on windows 10 ignore the winpcap install and see the below section.
WinPCap 4.1.3 should come with the install if you are running any other version of windows besides Windows 10. Version 4.1.3 has wireless support (wifi) for any operating system besides Windows 10.
If you are running Windows 10 then you'll need to uninstall the 4.1.3 version of WInPCap if you have it installed and install the Windows 10 WinPCap here.
The Windows 10 WinPCap doesn't work with wireless network cards however, only ethernet network cards. To make sure any version of WinPCap driver is installed take a look at the properties of your network card. You should see the packet capture driver in the list of drivers and it should be checked.
This option just simply turns the collector on and off.
If you are getting vcruntime140.dll errors try installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable from Microsoft.
If your backend.exe is crashing, we need the crash report. You can reply to this wiki post with the crash report.
If you want to help us debug the crashes you can install Visual Studio 2015. When the crash happens tell the prompt to debug. It should open VS 2015 and go through the motions of giving a debug report. I'm working on a more in depth guide to this part so if your trying this and lost, sorry.
