The Birthday Bash is an annual celebration to commemorate the anniversary of Free Realms, which originally launched on April 29, 2009. In 2011, the Free Realms Birthday Bash was released on April 22.

Where's the Party?

All of the major towns in Sacred Grove each have their own special party location!

Sanctuary - On the island south of the Royal Palace
Merry Vale - At the cooking table
Seaside - At the Ocean Treasures Cafe
Briarwood - At Chugilda's camp kitchen in Nettleseed
Snowhill - Near the cooking table and the skating pond
Wugachug - At the cooking table
Blackspore Swamp - Next to Sal Monella, east of the warpstone
Shrouded Glade - Southwest of the warpstone, at the entrance of the tunnel that leads into the Wilds

The quests for this event are spread all across Sacred Grove. Head over to Sanctuary and speak with Camellia to start.

Party Minigames

Cake-Filled Battles

Two unique battles, which are tier 1 and tier 5 difficulty, were introduced with this event. Let the cake begin!

Cake-Eating Cakelings - unlocked by beginning the quest Mysteriously Cakey Remains
Cakenstein Attacks! - unlocked by beginning the quest Cakey Madness

The prize wheels for these battles include event-specific items such as balloon weapons, birthday t-shirts, fireworks and much more.

To defeat the Cakensteins, you must participate in the live minigame in one of the following places:

An in-game announcement will notify you where to find Cakenstein, every 15 minutes!

Once you see the in-game announcement, head to the birthday party celebration at that particular place. You should be able to find a crate of Party Fireworks nearby that you can click on. Cakenstein himself will appear in the general vicinity of the party and begin working his way there.

Use the number 3 key on your keyboard to assault Cakenstein with the fireworks. It will take several people working together to take down this menace!
