i really hope Sony is givin us a new CH spell... 7,500 isn't enough, even if it crits every other cast... we have people over 20k hp now... we need one that does at least that much, like how CH was back in original EQ

They need something to make it easier to tell them apart from the men, like bigger breasts.

I -- for one, am reserving judgement for gameday when they go live -- particularly on the hair. 2" x 2" thumbnail screenshots of 17" monitor view don't do any character avatar justice. I agree that the first few screenshots submitted blew chunks, and the male avatar came off lookin anemic. I also agree the succeeding screenshots have improved on delivering the look within the confines of the shrunken down thumbnail. That last shot of the female in chainmail looks pretty sharp.

About this bigger muscles and ta-tas thing -- wwhat do you want -- Fabio? That's just scary. Dragons are generally conceived of as sleek and lithe, when you bring in the fact they have to get that bulk of theirs off the ground to do that swoop and pillage thing. Why then should we expect humans touched by a bit of the fey and draconian, to be anything but fast, sleek, and lithely dangerous? Each race only has one body type represented. Magic's part of their diet now, like the elves. Strength of will, endurance, muscle tone more than bulk. Wiry strength doesn't have to be bulky, like the metal they wield, shape, and use. There's plenty of ways to be dangerous as a guardian than bein' defensive lineman material. Do they look a bit too much like someone out of anime that could stand to commence to some serious eatin --yes.

But don't give me Barbie or Fabio.

Just what part of an infusion of yonder dragon's blood and magic has squat to do with bouncy-wouncy bustline?

/rant off

See you around Norrath

Necro and chain the best, leather and plate I cant tell them apart by the armour.

They look littlethings, woodelves withtatoos. 25% barbarian 75% woodelve.

Come on, where is the Dragon heritage!!

Aside from the other obvious statements, I honestly hope they will fix the hair on these new characters.

Where are the muscles!?! I thought these were bred for protection? Who wants a bunch of bean poles protecting their city? Comeon, I thought they were half dragon! Please put some meat on those bones. Ok I'm done.
new race for monks

Top left has to be a warrior class since there are only 2 classes that can duel wield slashers. And I doubt thats a rogue. And right side 3rd one down is mage. But enough of the obvious. IMO female is exponentionally better looking than the males, but as for the race in total their armor graphics are awesome. I dont do the gender bending, so i'll be starting a male monk when this comes out. Probably never get him up too high but would be cool to have a Drakkin monk since there hasnt been a new race for monks in what...5 yrs?

What? When did thay change that?

Last I checked, Warriors, rogues, bards, and rangers could dual wield slashers.

And sony has already released the drakkin class combos: HERE

Which displays:

They never said there wouldn't be a druid available for Drakkin.

The only classes the Drakkin can not be are Shaman, Beastlord and Berserker.
Where is the monk?

Faeyinae say that there is a monk in htose screenshots I fail to see the monk. And also, SONY says that there wasn't going to be a druid class for the Drakkin

OMG!

Well, I guess I know where the character designers who couldn't cut it on Final Fantasy ended up!

I wish they would bring back whoever designed the female DE's. Aside from the blue skin, they are the best looking chars in game IMO. I am a RL female, so I am not looking at this from a "hot" perspective - just from an asthetic point.

I seriously doubt I will paly one of these - just like I refuse to play half-elves with the slutty thong/thigh high boot look.

They look pretty good actually. Dunno why everyone has such massive expectations for the Drakkin. If they were made to look godly, then people would expect godly starting stats. :/ A better adjective than wimpy would be lithe.
Ack

Still disapointed. Sure the females look better then males thats the same with almost any class except Trolls and ogers. In my opinion as a race the modles look thaghtless, weak and like skinner versions of humans with war paint. Nothing at all like the consept art. Oh well I can say for sure I won't be starting a Drakkin not even as a gimp bazzar mule. I guess i should expect a heard of the females drakkin sweedish super modles around norath on release day though just like Ikkys kats and froggs but at least thoughs modles look intresting. Well Have fun with your female drakins guys I for one say no thank you.

Much better looking then the male version that we've seen before, and much better dressed as well. I was seriously hoping that they wouldn't be like the poor female druids, it seems like the higher level clothing they get the smaller the thong and breast plate gets.
nice indeed
# Sep 01 2006 at 12:35 AM Rating: Decent
they do look a little skinny..but all in all they are 100% better then the males( dam emos).I cantz wait for this expansion to roll around....( Magi version ftw )
Wow
# Sep 01 2006 at 12:30 AM Rating: Decent
hehe...the guy version scared me away from it all..But after seeing this ( RAWR to the Magi version) I think im gonna like playing a drakkin.
