Bannings on Tribunal

There was apparantly a mass banning of accounts on Tribunal the other day, including some long time players. There is no real way to check who is right in their claims, but many of the players who were banned are claiming they did nothing wrong. I'll just give you the threads and let you decide: http://pub101.ezboard.com/fthetribunaldotorgfrm1.showMessage?topicID=654.topic http://pub9.ezboard.com/ftheknightsofthetribunalgeneraldiscussion.showMessage?topicID=1623.topic

I would like to post that I have had several virus alerts on my network during EQ play. I am not sure if the EQ servers are secure in providing filters for this though this happens about three times a week. When it occurs, my win.ini file has been modified to include a file win32.exe, or something to that extent that tries to run itself at startup. I have installed the latest virus software and update it daily and it still occurs about three times a week while playing EQ. Another network computer was stricken with NIMDA two days ago during EQ play though I don't believe this incident is related. I just thought I'd offer this information and hope it is useful for Verant to understand that some garbage may be flowing through their connection. I am hesitant to think any players that have obtained high levels or who have played this game for an extended period of time would seriously try to hack into the game they love.

Anyone else have these problems?

Its no big deal, they can go play DaoC if Verant doesn't want their cash.
