Quests for Misty Thicket

Bandages for Honeybugger (Normal): Joogl Honeybugger is located at -615, -1190.

You say, 'Hail, Joogl Honeybugger'

Joogl Honeybugger says 'Hello. I would shake your hand, but it would [hurt]. Ooooh! Owwy!'

You say, 'What hurts?'

Joogl Honeybugger says 'I was attacked by the bixies. They swarmed on me!! I think I got too near their queen. I need that honey to make a living! Get me a bandage and I will tell you where all their worker bees buzz around.'

Give him 1 x Bandages.

Joogl Honeybugger says 'Oh thank you, ______. If you are ever going to gather bixie honeycombs pray you do not run into the queen. The only way I know of collecting the honey is by intercepting the drones and taking the honeycombs they sometimes carry. Good luck !!'

Bug Collection (Normal): Blixkin Entopop roams the inside of the wall and has an unusual hobby. He collects bug parts, and you are just the halfling to help him out. Talk to him and ask him about the bug collection, and he will give you a list of six bug parts and a box to collect them in.

You say, 'Hail, Blixkin Entopop'

Blixkin Entopop says 'Hail, Yatri! My name is Blixkin Entopop. Have you seen the wonderful assortment of [spiders] and [beetles] that inhabit the thicket? I have quite an extensive [bug collection]. Be careful, though. I have seen many brave halflings fall beneath a [swarm] of clicking and hissing bugs.'

You say, 'Tell me about your collection.'

Blixkin Entopop says 'I collect all kinds of bugs but most of the ones I have are dead. [Ember] is the only exception. I just like them for their pretty colors and I admire how loyal they are to each other. If you want to, you can help me complete my collection and I will reward you for your time. Here is a list of the bug parts I need for my collection. If you [don't have a bug collection box] to collect the bug parts in, just ask me for one. I think I have some extras.'

You say, 'I don't have a box.'

Blixkin Entopop says 'Here you go. Just follow the instructions on the [list] so you know what to collect and how to prepare the collection for me.'

The six bug parts for this quest are:

1) Spiderling eyes,
2) spiderling silk,
3) Fire beetle eyes,
4) Giant scarab egg sac (note: although there are a few giant scarabs in Misty Thicket, they're rare. I suggest getting them somewhere else),
5) Giant fire beetle leg (these are found in the Western Karanas, on the queen klacknak and on the queen Kliknik in Qeynos who is a faster spawn),
6) Giant wasp wings (these are found in Misty Thicket; the only other place to get them is on Crookstinger in Lesser Faydark).

After collecting the items, hit combine and give the box back to him, along with the list he gave you, for your reward.

  • Give Blixkin Entopop the Complete Bug Collection and the list he gives you (if you need another, ask him for a list).

Blixkin Entopop says 'Oh you have a complete collection for me?! Good! Good! Well done. But remember that I need the complete bug collection and you must return my want list before I can pay you.'
Blixkin Entopop says 'Excellent! Good work! I knew you were the one for this job! Thank you so much! My collection just gets better and better each day. Here is your reward as I promised.'

Honey Jum (Normal): You say, 'Hail, Lil Honeybugger'

Lil Honeybugger says 'Hello. My brother Joogl is a great bixie hunter. No one can smash bixies like my brother. He is the best. He works for [Kizzie Mintopp].'

You say, 'What Honey Jum Recipe?'

Lil Honeybugger says 'I do not know, but it tastes good on bixie crunchies. Kizzie makes it with the honeycombs my brother collects from the bixies.'

    You say, 'Hail, Kizzie Mintopp'

Kizzie Mintopp says 'Enough talk there, chatterbox. You buy lots of herbs. I gotta make a living, not more friends.'

You say, 'What is the Honey Jum Recipe?'

Kizzie Mintopp says 'It's a secret! I get the honeycombs and combine them with the secret sauce and... presto... Honey jum! It is used by only the wisest as a component. And you can only get it from Kizzie. It is also good on batwing crunchies. If you like... Kizzie can [make honey jum] for you?'

You say, "Yes, please make it"

Kizzie Mintopp says, "No, no, no! You will not get honey jum until you give Kizzie three honeycombs and thirty gold coins. Honey jum is valuable. Kizzie raised the fee! That is how it works."

Kizzie Mintopp says 'This is not all! Kizzie says, three honeycombs and thirty gold coins! Oooh! They never listen.'
Kizzie Mintopp says 'This is not all! Kizzie says, three honeycombs and thirty gold coins! Oooh! They never listen.'
Kizzie Mintopp says 'This is not all! Kizzie says, three honeycombs and thirty gold coins! Oooh! They never listen.'
Kizzie Mintopp says 'You are one lucky bixie buster. I just made a batch of honey jum. Here. No waiting for you. One jar for your good work. Bye, now!'

    You receive the Honey Jum!
    Reward: Honey Jum

Mooto's Proof (Unsolved): Follow Mooto (assuming nobody kills him) and when he gets to the orc camp he will say: "Orcs have infiltrated our area. I will reward anyone who shows me proof of their death." As a wolf you can hail Mooto and he responds "You would be wise to leave my sight while you still can. Unless you have something to give me." Giving the DeathFist Slashed Belt and Pawn Scalp did not result in anything, so I'm not sure what he needs, or if the quest works.

Need quest solution, rewards, all dialogues, current faction hits if any, missing quest items, additional quest mobs, /loc of quest mobs, etc.
Orc Belts (Normal): Deputy Budo is located (-256, 561) in the first tower south of the opening in the wall.

    You say, 'Hail, Deputy Budo'

Deputy Budo says 'Hail, ______. I am Deputy Budo Bullnose, the squad leader of the Great Wall Patrol. Be very careful in the lands beyond the wall. They are filled with dangerous beasts, as well as Clan Runnyeye.'

Deputy Budo no longer responds to any further text, if you hand him a Deathfist Slashed Belt you receive:

Deputy Budo says 'Grand work, Deputy _____! You will become a full-fledged deputy in no time. You should check in with Marshal Ghobber from time to time to see if you have earned your squad ring. Just go up to him and ask, 'Am I one with the Wall?' He will know, but you must first show your bravery in many battles against the goblins.'

    You gain experience!!
You receive 8 copper from Deputy Budo.

Terrorantula (Unsolved): I'm not sure if this leads anywhere (it is probably a broken quest), but Blixkin Entopop mentions a super bug by the name of Terrorantula and asks if you have heard of it. This partucular spider can be found in South Ro, is a pretty high level, and is known to drop various body parts, particularly legs, when killed. Since Blixkin collects bug parts, it may be that he will reward you if you give him these. However, I have been told of one person who tried to give it to him and got nothing in return. There is probably more to this.

Need all dialogues, /loc and exact in-game names of quest mobs, faction hits if any, quest rewards if any, information required to finish quest.
The Realm of Heroes -- Misty Thicket (Unsolved): There seem to be several NPC's that talk about the Realm of Heros. Here is the one in Misty Thicket

You say, 'hail Bidils the Quickhand'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Why, hello there Aerian ! And what brings ya to see little old me? Oh, let me guess! I am sure it is because ya wish t'buy a good spot of Jumjum and listen to [my tale]? Oh, quite lovely so! Why else would one well rounded Wood Elf come to see the great Bidils the Quickhand other than to hear of this rogue's great adventures!

You say, 'tell me your tale'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Ahhh. . . I see the gods have found the time to be now for a good ear to lend to my words! So long as ya share the Jumjum, I can speak t'ya of the endless adventures and triumphs of Bidils the Quickhand! Now. . . where shall I begin? Yes! [The beginning], of course! Indeed, quite lovely so.

You say, 'what of the beginning'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Yes, of course I shall begin at the beginning! No proper tale would begin anywhere other than the beginning! You see, good Wood Elf, I was once a humble rog. . . merchant within this here fair city. Oh, how the Jumjum and gol. . . merchandise flowed in then! Quite lovely, indeed, it was. Well then, where was I?

    You say, 'what merchant'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Ahhh yes! Those days were fair indeed. How I do miss them! Of course, that is not to say that Bidils the Quickhand does not appreciate the eyes and favor of Bristlebane upon him! In fact, it is quite the contrary! I do love a good prank! Yes, quite lovely so!

    You say, 'what of bristlebane'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Fizzlethorp Bristlebane, indeed quite the trickster and with a sense of humor! I bet you could not have seen that Bidils the Quickhand would have caught the eye of such a dignified individual, now did ya? Yes, The King of Thieves. . . and merchants finds it amusing when one [takes his possessions]!

You say, 'what possessions did you take'

Bidils the Quickhand 's eyes grow wide with an eager, child-like anticipation. ''Oh yes! Upon one of my several adventures through this great, glorious land of Norrath, I did stumble upon a [lovely treasure], indeed! Great skill and cunning was used, skill that belonged only to Bidils the Quickhand, and has yet to be surpassed within this realm!''

    You say, 'what lovely treasure'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'A lovely gem, far more beautiful than even the most delicate and fury feet of a halfling lass! It was larger than my face, and sparkled more than the most pure of Jumjum catching the rays of Karana's blessed skies! Indeed, it was a divine treasure to behold. . . but little then did I know that such a treasure truly belonged to the King of Thieves. . . and merchants himself! But no, such truths still would not have [stopped me]!

    You say, 'what stopped you'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Ahh ha! I was not stopped, and the gem was mine! Right from beneath the arms of Bristlebane himself did I take it! That was when he noticed me. . . and that is when I was taken from the humble life of a merchant and placed within the glorious [realm of heroes]! Of course. . . Bristlebane took back the gem. What a shame. Indeed, quite so.

You say, 'what realm of heroes'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'The realm of heroes, that is my new home. . . Well, it was. Ahhh, indeed, it is quite lovely! It is where all that catch the eyes of the gods in favor ascend if their deeds be true and worthy enough for note! Perhaps one day, Aerian , you shall rise as well!! Look at Bidils the Quickhand, once a sturdy merchant and now a [humble servant] and rewarder of deeds!

    You say, 'what humble servant'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Yes! Indeed, a humble servant I am! I complain not for my occupation. . . as I am humble. I collect [deeds and make recognition] of those who have caught the eyes of the gods. Why the gods do it not themselves, I am lost for answers. . . but, I do not complain. They are gods, you know. Quite busy! Indeed, lovely so!

You say, 'what deeds and recognition'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Deeds! Yes, the gods are quite tricky and intelligent you know! They have found a way to mark deeds in the form of a coin! A [coin] in which one who has been so fortunate enough as to accept would give to me. . . or one of the [other Heroes] that have recently come to this land.

    You say, 'what other heroes'

Bidils the Quickhand says 'Oh yes! I am not the only one who has returned to Norrath in search of Heroes! There are many others, indeed! Although, as the gods, their colors vary. Some are [kind and gentle] while some are [vile and nasty] beings of which ya should watch ya'r back for.

You say, 'what kind and gentle heroes are there?'

Bidils the Quickhand sighs heavily, a twinkle in his eye and warm smile upon his heavy cheeks. ''Yes. . . none so as Ailerina the Gentle, as she was so rightfully named. A lovely lass. Tender as a gentle morning mist. . . Yes. . . Indeed, quite lovely so. An enchanting creature. . . and as pure as Tunare's good grace itself. It is no wonder she caught the Earth Mother's eye.''

You say, 'what vile and nasty'

Bidils the Quickhand glares and spits on the ground beside him. '' I know not why some of these. . . villains are called heroes. It is all part of the fold and plan, I am sure. However, I shall give ya this warning of one of them, perhaps the most vile of all, and that is Kizrak the Tyrant, a brutal creature of the Warlord who has quite the taste for halflings. . . and I mean not in the sense of good grace and kindness
