Mother and Brother Besides EverQuest, what other MMORPGs have you played? I'm a very loyal person. I've never played any other MMORPG except EverQuest. How did you find out about EverQuest, and when did you begin playing? My mom's cousin got us into it. He told us it would be cheaper than calling each other all the time. It was around November 2000. Do you know anyone in real life who plays EverQuest? My mother, her fiance, and a few that I've met after playing with them online. How did you come up with your main character's name? I honestly don't remember. My first character ever was my full name. What factors affected your choice of race / class for your main character? Mom's cousin again. He wanted me to make a barbarian. He didn't say which class though, so I made a shaman because I liked the idea of casting spells. I found out later he wanted me to make a warrior. About how often do you play EverQuest, and how long is a typical playing session for you? Everyday, at least a couple hours. How do you spend your time in game? Tradeskilling and leveling alts mostly. What other class/race combinations have you levelled past 35? Vah Shir/Beastlord (67), Human/Wizard (43), Dark Elf/Necromancer (41), Dwarf/Cleric (59), Erudite/Enchanter (59), Barbarian/Shaman (70), Wood Elf/Warrior (61), Iksar/Monk (60). I also have a Hafling/Druid(64) on another account, but I didn't level her. Approximately how much of the EverQuest world have you experienced? Most of the old school and up to Serpent's expansion. Been to the Buried Sea expansion a couple times. What is your favourite expansion? Serpent's Spine right now because of all the tradeskills and the new race/city. What is your least favourite expansion? Depths of Darkhollow: Just not really into the whole mission and monster thing. What is your favourite zone? Jewel of Atiiki because of the crazy pathing and warping. Ever had a mob warp on your head and kill you? What is your favourite NPC? Don't have a favorite npc. They are there to either buy/sell, quest from, or to die. What is your favourite raid encounter (if different from NPC)? I don't raid much, so there isn't really a favorite, although, there are a couple of memorable raids. If the war between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl erupted again, which side would you take? Firiona Vie Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game. Getting 300 in tailoring after 6 years. Its such a hard tradeskill for a barbarian! What is the largest amount of platinum you have ever had at one time, and how did you go about accumulating it? 300,000 - by selling stuff in the bazaar. What are some things you would change or implement in order to improve EverQuest? I would put the item info back to the way it was. It was much easier to read. What types of spells, skills, disciplines, and/or alternate abilities would you like to see added to your class? A better pet for shamans. We need more then a speed bump. If you were responsible for organizing and running a GM event, what would it be and how would it play out? It would probably be complete chaos. If you had to start over from scratch, what race/class combination would you choose? Barbarian/Shaman. I know it well and it's a fun class. How do you describe EverQuest to your coworkers or computer-illiterate friends? "It's an online game." What is next for you in the world of EverQuest? Tradeskilling. I have lots of trophies to level up still and a few of them that are sitting at 200. ** Pick the winner in a battle between...
