Wife, 3 kids Besides EverQuest, what other MMORPGs have you played? None How did you find out about EverQuest, and when did you begin playing? My wife started playing while I was in Iraq 4 years ago. Do you know anyone in real life who plays EverQuest? Many. How did you come up with your main character's name? There's a song from an old movie called Paint Your Wagon... The song lyrics are, "they call the wind Mahriah." The 1.0 title is Windcaller... Windcaller Mahriah Windrider. What factors affected your choice of race / class for your main character? Ease of play. About how often do you play EverQuest, and how long is a typical playing session for you? Almost every day, 2-4 hours. How do you spend your time in game? Guild raids, quests, helping guildies out. What other class/race combinations have you levelled past 35? Dwarf Berserker 75 Dark Elf SK 52 Dwarf War 58 Ogre War 42 Half Elf Ranger 74 Vah Shir Beastlord 71 Dwarf Cleric 40 Dwarf Cleric 75 Drakkin Wizzy 61 Approximately how much of the EverQuest world have you experienced? Missed PoP flagging big time, but have all expansions. What is your favourite expansion? LDoN because if you have a group of people bored and roughly the same level you always have something goal oriented to do. It's like a miniature EQ within EQ. What is your least favourite expansion? It is hard for people coming into the game nowadays to catch up. So any expansion that I will not get the full benefit from. I am missing spells from the pirates for example. What is your favourite zone? I don't really have a favorite zone but Loping Plains is always a good place for me. I HATE the guild lobby since they removed the timer rot. They should shut down that zone every 24 hours at least to clear out the lag or rename it to guild laggy. What is your favourite NPC? Any of the Kyvs. I want a Kyv ranger lol. What is your favourite raid encounter (if different from NPC)? Any epic raid. I like the sense of accomplishment that comes from the epics... even if it is someone else's. If the war between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl erupted again, which side would you take? Whichever was winning. Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game. First epic completed. What is the largest amount of platinum you have ever had at one time, and how did you go about accumulating it? 250k or so? Mostly from selling Tradeskill stuff to buyers. What are some things you would change or implement in order to improve EverQuest? Instead of removing flags from old stuff like Time I would add new mobs or drops to entice people to go back to those zones and get people backflagged. What types of spells, skills, disciplines, and/or alternate abilities would you like to see added to your class? I think rangers are pretty well-rounded. I would like to see an epic Bow though. If you were responsible for organizing and running a GM event, what would it be and how would it play out? I would have a GM event that was deity related. You have to fulfill a requirement of your god. Fulfilling the event would get you a deity based item that only a worshipper of your deity could wield. If you had to start over from scratch, what race/class combination would you choose? Pretty much have a toon of every class/race combo I would want now. If I lost everything and had to start over, I would go back to dwarf beserker. How do you describe EverQuest to your coworkers or computer-illiterate friends? I usually just show em lol.
