Hobbies: EQ, Chess, did I mention EQ? Family? Quite large. Besides EverQuest, what other MMORPGs have you played? I've pretty much played every MMO to date. From Ultima online, EQ, EQ2, Lineage 2, WoW, FFXII, Planetside, SWG, Vanguard, and quite a few more. None compare to the lore, progression, and immersion of Everquest. How did you find out about EverQuest, and when did you begin playing? I've been playing EQ since late in the beta cycle December 98. I found out about it while looking through a magazine and there was a small obscure article about it. Do you know anyone in real life who plays EverQuest? My girlfriend plays, and I have 4 friends that play who I've known for a few years. How did you come up with your main character's name? Random name generator FTW! What factors affected your choice of race / class for your main character? Initially stats did. But now it's more of how they look and what they can do. I chose a Cleric at first because I thought it would be fun and exciting to heal, but I learned that it can be quite boring. That is when I rolled a paladin. About how often do you play EverQuest, and how long is a typical playing session for you? Everyday 3-5 hours. (I use to play a lot more -- 7 days a week for up to 10 hours a day.) How do you spend your time in game? Recruiting, Raiding, and grouping with friends. What other class/race combinations have you levelled past 35? Dwarf Cleric, Iksar Monk, Euridite Mage, Dwarf Paladin, Barbarian Shaman, High Elf Enchanter, Gnome Wizard (tinker bot), Wood Elf Ranger. Only classes I have yet to level up are Berserker, Rogue, and Warrior. Approximately how much of the EverQuest world have you experienced? 90% -- My main is only missing Crystallos key to have every key/flag in game. What is your favourite expansion? PoP -- it was just massive, and took skill and time to get through all of the progression. What is your least favourite expansion? LoY... It should have just been a patch. What is your favourite zone? Frostcrypt UNDEAD FTW! What is your favourite NPC? Kerafyrm (The Sleeper) What is your favourite raid encounter (if different from NPC)? Quarm hands down. That many AE's and he's the largest NPC that I've seen in any game. It feels like your fighting a claw when it's as large as you are. If the war between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl erupted again, which side would you take? Firiona Vie! Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game. Being there when Kerafyrm died. What is the largest amount of platinum you have ever had at one time, and how did you go about accumulating it? Just over 6 million. I sold a Mask of Tinkering a couple of years back for a sizeable chunk. What are some things you would change or implement in order to improve EverQuest? No broken quests, fix paladins!, get rid of the shroud system and monster missions, and implement some sort of mentoring system for regular exp. What types of spells, skills, disciplines, and/or alternate abilities would you like to see added to your class? AE aggro (ya that won't happen), 18 second disc simular to Weaponshield for Paladins and SK's (Shield Block). If you were responsible for organizing and running a GM event, what would it be and how would it play out? Best of the Best 2.0! If you had to start over from scratch, what race/class combination would you choose? Dwarf Paladin. Dwarfs flip while jumping! There are other race/class combinations?? How do you describe EverQuest to your coworkers or computer-illiterate friends? I don't have to. Most of the people I work with play EQ, EQ2, WoW, or something else simular. What is next for you in the world of EverQuest? Mayong Mistmoore and Sol Ro must face me in battle. ** Pick the winner in a battle between... Qeynos vs Felwithe - Felwithe Innoruuk the Prince of Hate vs Cazic Thule the God of Fear - Innoruuk Giants of Velious vs Akhevans of Luclin - Giants of Velious Muramites of Discord vs the Drachnids of Darkhollow - Muramites (I just hate spiders) Tradeskilling vs Questing - Option C: Boxing my own group. Instance Zones vs Static Zones - I use to really like racing for a target in a static zone. But since instancing allows you to actually schedule raids easier I have to say instances. Monster Missions vs Project M (PvP as Monsters) - Neither, they both suck. Soloing vs Pick-Up Groups - PU groups. Guild Raiding vs Grouping With Friends - Raiding GM (real people) Events vs Scripted (computerized) Events - GM Events Arena Royal Rumble vs 1-on-1 Duel - Royal rumble. DA HAMMER FTW!
