Tooltips! New tooltips for all! We've just released a major tooltip update for our database tooltips! ZAM tooltips should now load more quickly, attach to the mouse more smoothly, attach to icons where appropriate, and should reposition themselves when near the edge of the screen. There are also new options for users adding our tooltips to their site, including the ability to add coloring or icons to links, or even rename their links.
Find out how you can add / modify these tooltips on your site by heading over to our tooltips wiki page! You can also see what changes we made on our tooltip feedback forum topic.

In spite of Warhammer Online's scrappy nature, this MMO is slowly being whittled down by time and competition, as Mythic just "retired" two more Warhammer Online servers: Gorfang and Karak-Azgal. Both servers will be brought completely offline as of today, and players will need to transfer any of their remaining characters via the Mythic Account Center.
Good luck in your new homes, evicted Warhammer-ers!

Happy third anniversary, Warhammer Online! Mythic is celebrating the milestone by kicking off 10 days of bonus to XP/RP starting today, September 16. You'll also be able to grab a few fireworks from the dead bodies of your foes.
The team is also introducing new rewards for all the 3-year veterans out there. The team is thanking these loyal players by giving them an exclusive Jack O Lantern Vanity Pet (seen above), as well as an endless supply of Chaos Black and Blazing Orange dye to maintain the seasonal theme.

Do you want a better shot at being invited into this weekend's Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes closed beta event? Then you may want to "like" the game's Facebook page by the end of today, September 14 because the team will be sending out a batch of invites equal to the number of fans on Facebook. The page currently has 4,748 "likes," which means that many new players are getting into the beta. If that number increases today, then even more players will receive beta invites.
Of course, the guaranteed way to get into the beta is by being an active subscriber of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. If you're a subscriber, make sure you sign up for the Wrath of Heroes beta with the same EA account you use for WAR.
Wrath of Heroes is a free-to-play arena game features three-team 6v6v6 combat and the ability to swap your heroes on the fly. We're participating in the closed beta, so keep an eye out for our impressions!

Wrath of Heroes was announced at Gamescom last month. The free-to-play arena game features three-team 6v6v6 combat and the ability to swap your heroes on the fly.

Ever wanted to play a Warhammer Online PvP arena game? Well it looks like you're going to get your chance with Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes. EA and BioWare Mythic announced the upcoming free-to-play title at Gamescom today, and it features three team 6v6v6 combat and the ability to swap your heroes on the fly.
So what does this mean for Warhammer Online? In today's producer's letter, Kai Schober promises that "the WAR rages on!" The team will continue to develop and support Warhammer Online, and has actually increased its pool of resources since BioWare Mythic brought in new people to develop Wrath of Heroes.
You can sign up for the Wrath of Heroes beta on the game's official site. Watch the announcement trailer below to see some in-game footage.

The Warhammer Online team will be hitting the road this summer to meet with fans at a handful of events. The tour will include stops at two Games Workshop events where they'll be talking about upcoming Warhammer Online patches. Here's the schedule:

Warhammer Online version 1.4.3 is now live and brings with it the launch of the two-week Sigmar Tide live event. As the team explained in May's Community Update, "Sigmar Tide is the time of the year when the Empire takes pause to celebrate the day Sigmar – the founder of the Empire and first emperor – became a god."
In addition to the event, version 1.4.3 adds a group of RvR accessory sets, the ability to purchase Name Change Tokens, and a new Scenario lineup.
