But seriously, how stupid can some people be? It's both funny and fairly disturbing. I'm far from rich, and I'd never do something like that which would knowingly let my party/alliance down. I hope for his sake his mental and real age match up...

On another note, how about we BCNM once my RNG hit 40? It seems comedy and you go together very well. >.> I could do with a laugh on only what would probably be my second BCNM.

...oh, I'm meant to add another name? uh... Cheeky/Cheeko (forget his name). After numerous messages in party about going a bit further out to do his BRD songs for melee, he still hit me with DD songs, even when I was virtually on top of the mages as a last resort to get him to understand. How does a BRD get to 67 when he can't play his job?

yeah... 10% of brds out there have no idea what they are doing

and even when they have a clue that same 10% still plays the same way because "I'm teh brd!1 I can get pt quick!"

just sad that no one ever remembers the Galka brds that keep the pt going when the WHM has spammed to much and is outta mp (and yes has ballad >.>) yet still keeps the pld alive

does anyone ever say "Wow you sure did alot with what MP you have, Galka brds ftw!"

Well, I'm pretty sure it was Cheeky but, you're right, that could start promlems if two people have both those names :P.

Cheeky may be the best BLM in the world, it doesn't matter to me, it doesn't change the fact he's a terrible BRD. He shouldn't play the job if he sees that he is obviously lacking.

No names to be said, just the type of person that bugs me so much I decided to post. :)

I camped Shikigami Weapon for a month until I finally got a Yinyang Robe of my own. I spent almost every day, even at 3am or 6am, camping this NM with my linkshell. I watched four other Summoners in the linkshell obtain their Robes before mine. I knew I'd get mine in time, and I did.. this past Monday. Since then I've gotten over ten /tells from various people.. that I knew and most that I didn't know.. asking for ToD. I would simply tell them that I would not give out the ToD, since there are still people in my linkshell that do not have their YinYang Robes.

Tonight, while I was at a linkshell event in sea, the following conversation took place with a SMN72 who I don't even know..

Cry me a f*cking river! What have I gotten from HiddenPower LS? A pair of Rostrum Pumps and a Yinyang Robe (which I camped a month for!) Everything else I have I earned, most of it before I even migrated to Remora. To be a little crybaby and call someone else greedy (haha!) and assuming that because I wear a certain linkpearl, I have everything in the game.. because they won't give you the ToD for an NM.. That's just f*cking hilarious.

People crack me up.

hmmm.. how about pld's hwo use polearms? i partied with one named yulaw (sp?) and he got out right MAD at me kicking him cuz he had a sword on him but he wouldn't use it.... i ran into someone who saw him and they said he was only in qufim... is that true? just curious

It's not that people are sad enough to notice your lack of spelling, grammar, and punctuation, it's that it is such a terrible tragedy that somebody without the capacity to even read english would possibly cringe and the very sight of it.

On the bright side, should you ever advance through puberty and a second grade comprehension level, there's the chance you'll simply mercy-kill yourself at the horribly idiotic things you've said.

Just because you couldnt spell tree to save your miserable life doesnt mean that everyone else with a single brain cell is anything less of what they are. Sure he's an @#%^, pompous and arrogant. But thats cuz he's right. Alot. Its really @#%^ing annoying sometimes, but you'll need to learn your place around the blacklist thread if you want to be above sub default. Only for the intelligent im afraid.

Wow, being away for a while and coming back, seems like I missed a few episodes of my favorite daytime drama. I come back, see Jyneefur post a complaint (albeit a general one) in the BL thread, only to see VVillow slam her for it (Lord knows he has the highest postcount in this thread). I have to admit, I don't see where she's being a bitch- VVillow posted something similar quite a while before, where someone asked for help when he was busy... I don't see why the same complaint makes Jynee a nitch all of a sudden. Maybe he didn't have enough fibre that day.

Also, Efren, this is the blacklist thread? If you want happy-feely posts, don't look here... and expect no less than scathing sarcasm from VVillow. It's how he posts. Even his compliments are amazingly uncomplimentary. To somplain that he's not nice is kind of like saying that Ghandi wasn't fat. We all know it, it's not going to change, and you announcing it doesn't help.

Finally, I had a good laugh at this:

Wow, a guy with a post rating of 2.55 picking on the guy with a post rating of 2.12... kind of like degrees of dumbassery? I think the thing I find saddest is that his post is no more comprehensible than Efren's, yet he has the gall to mock him for 'lack of intelligence". I'm sorry, once again I can't agree with you on this. I don't see the rudeness in his responses and requests to you to warrant you going off on him like that.

Imagine if the positions were reversed and you did not have your YinYang Robe. After a month of camping, if someone offered you the ToD would you have taken it?

This brings me to a event that happened to me a few days ago, I was helping this Red Mage camp Charby for the Joyeuse sword and eventually after several hours of hanging out there, we all decided to call it a night. Everyone warped, however I ran to the back where the NPC Seahagin was and logged out.

Well, I logged back on and low and behold there was Charby unclaimed. I managed to scrounge some other players in the area to help me kill it, and I managed to get the sword.

About 30 mins later, from going AFK, I noticed several people camping there. I asked, "Are you here for the Joyeuse?" Of course all of them replied "Yes." Being that it was such a long spawn time, out of courtesy I gave them the ToD. They thanked me and warped out, saving them sometime they could spend doing something productive.

Sure, I didn't mind giving them the ToD, it served no use to me to hide it from them and to withhold it like I was holding it hostage. Just about helping out your fellow player.



From the way that sounded it sounds like you aren't too happy with the few gear you've gotten.

As a member of a reputable linkshell like Hidden Power, I would think you would conduct yourself a little better and not blow up on someone.

That quote doesn't really make sense compared to what happened, if you read my post. I was the person who camped it for months, not the person who asked me for it. I didn't offer the ToD. The person, who I didn't even know, asked me for it out of the blue, and was not at a single camp for the weeks I, and members of my LS, spent camping it.



I don't appreciate being told I'm greedy because I won't give something away for free to someone I don't know.. When people I do know and have put in time and effort still need the item. Isn't it a little hypocritical that this guy isn't getting something with no work.. and he's calling the person who's not giving away free information that the person worked for.. greedy? Maybe I'm the only person that sees the irony in that.



You know what the big difference is? You seemed to have skimmed over my entire post, since you're missing big issues brought up in my post. You were camping Chary for a few hours. You log back in, he pops, you scrounge people together, and you get your item. You freely give away the ToD. Now on the flip side... I, and several others, have camped a NM every day for weeks (not hours). I got my item after helping several other people get their's (but others that I have camped with for weeks still needed it). I didn't freely give away the ToD. And why should I? I don't know about you, but I have more loyalty to my friends I've been camping with for weeks than to some random person who /tells me out of the blue when I'm busy and asks for the ToD of something he never camped.


It served me a purpose to "hide it", you see. What was that purpose? To help the people that have been there time and time again for weeks to get their items. Helping out my fellow player? If helping out people who have put in their time and effort isn't good enough for you, that's too bad.


I'm very happy with what I've gotten. There really isn't much for me to acquire at the moment with HP. And guess what.. I'm not there for items. (::shocked!::) If you read that quote out of context, sure it looks bad. But if your comprehension skill is above that of elementary school kids, you'd be able to understand why it was said.

So many people in this game have their heads stuck up their asses, especially when it comes to end-game. Just because you wear a certain colored linkpearl does not mean that you are just another zombie. Just because you wear a certain colored linkpearl does not mean that you are perfect. Just because you wear a certain colored linkpearl does not mean that you are the worst person in the world.

Is Lott a horrible person just because he was in Apathy with some of the most notorious people on Remora (Average, Airbag, Climax)? No.

Do I assume that Lott has every piece of gear he ever wanted because he was in a top HNMLS? No.

Do I assume that Vasana is in a wanna-be HNMLS because they stole their LS name from www.theorderls.com? Nope.

Is a person in SneakAttack LS a terrible player just because their leader (Ehrise) is a complete moron? Negative.

I'm sorry, that's just a very ignorant thing to say. The vast majority of the people in this game do not have everything they want. Very few people do. No matter what LS you are in. To be used as ammunition against me is complete bullsh*t. Especially when I already told the guy that I would not give him the ToD because other people still needed the item, so I WAS helping other people. Just not him. Yep, I'm greedy.

In all actuality, most people in HP don't have a smidgen of what they want. It's funny (and annoying) how people know so little and assume so much.

So anyway.. Think what you want. I still never posted the guy's name in his defense. This wasn't about him in particular. It wasn't about the 10 people who asked me for the ToD. It was about the attitude given after some don't get what they want. One person was extremely nice, and we discussed Shikigami for a few minutes after I explained that I wouldn't give him the ToD because people I camped with were still camping it. We had a pleasant discussion about the NM, PT setups, and pop conditions, etc, in which I gave him a lot of information about the mob. Sure, he may have been disappointed that I wouldn't give him the free ToD, but unlike some of you people, he understood why I wouldn't. He didn't call me greedy or bug me for it. He thanked me for even talking to him. He thanked me for giving him some helpful hints for Shikigami. If in the conversation above, the person asking would've been respectful and not an ass, it could've been a pleasant conversation as well. The post wasn't about that person individually. If it was, I would've posted his name. The post was about the mentality and attitude of people, and my venting of it.


Not being annoyed by someone who calls me greedy for unfounded reasons... just because I'm a member of a certain LS? Um.. apparently if you're in Hidden Power, you can't be human. Nobody gave me that memo. I apologize.

Wow...Last time I checked we were a Night-Time Sky LS. We don't plan on going to HNMLS status. Why? Because there are lots of them out there already.

Secondly, name stolen? Stolen you say? Hmmm... You'll see that there are several "TheOrder" Linkshells on various other servers. Last time I checked, there is even a Vasana on Leviathan. Wow, I forgot to read the rule that says, "All Linkshell names shall be original and not reflect any other Servers."

You should learn to relax. Remember it IS only a game after all.

Like Lott said, people won't always agree with you and your whines... err I mean rants. So when you post on these public forums, don't expect everyone to conform to Jyneefur's view.

Absolutely! Anything I can do to help please let me know. I happen to get a Bronzepiece from a botched run in Dynamis-Sandoria the other night. Since I usually never get these items, 20k seemed like a reasonable price in my book.

I hope I was able to help somebody out. After all I hope I can help lots of people out in the game, since some others seem to haven't nailed down that ability quite yet.

But hey! Don't you worry, whenever you have a little complaint that just urks you we'll all be here ready to listen to you and give you a great big hug and pat on the back. So turn that frown upside down! :)

I was in XP party as WHM in Boyahda. Does not SA+TA behind Ninja, is late on his skill chain, and when he closes skillchain he does it on DRG. I was wasting most of my MP pool despite the ninja tank. I got fed up with him that i stopped hasting him on purpose. He decides to aggro blood balls on purpose after he fishes a crawler. I took zero chances and hit teleport macro out. We boot him after that and made sure he took R1. (The BLM that died trying to hold off the adds ended up taking R1 voluntarily to make sure that thief ate a R1; and I did not have to pay a 6k chocobo fee to get back to boyhada.)

I asked other people in my level range about him and they told me that he was flat out horrible.

So a nice warning for people in the mid-60s looking for XP: do not invite this thief at all.
