Lyndsey is the main reason that LS was gaytarded and why I hated it so much. I also hated everyone else in it, but mostly just him. If he wasn't in it, I wouldn't have hated it so much. But he WAS in it. Besides, I hated BahamutsKnights before it was cool to hate it. Same with TTF and TheReturners.

TTF has been my second long-term linkshell in the game. I'm currently a sackholder there and I don't plan on leaving it anytime soon. I have been fairly good friends with Pampei since our previous linkshell when he was a level 20ish THF or so. Whilst he can be somewhat overbearing at times I have found him to be a decent guy and certainly an above-average player.

With that bias in mind,

I can say that TTF has had more than its share of complete retards. Our sackholders went on a bit of a inviting-spree a while back when the number of members was at its peak. On average you could find about sixty to eighty members in the shell at any one time. Many of these people were guys I wouldn't trust with a Brass Subligar, let alone an Astral Ring.

In recent months however we have weeded out the vast, vast majority of Idiots from the shell. Currently it's more usual for me to see twenty or thirty online at any one time, practically any one of whom I'd trust with my game characters life.

I've personally recieved "begging /tells to join the TTF" on a few occasions. TTF picked up a reputation as a LS that did a lot of lower-level events such as level 20 or 30 garrisons and Eco-War quests when our membership numbers peaked. Word-of-mouth meant that such requests were not uncommon (though more often than not they were denied). Currently to my knowledge we are not actively going out looking for new recruits, but have a rank/level based admission system for those who apply directly on our website or in-game.

Because said new applicants are often not known to any of the current sacks, as Pampei said we have a short probabationary period before membership is finalised. The sackholders (including myself) are not afraid to kick leechers, troublemakers or idiots out of the shell, however recognising new members as belonging to one of those categories can take a short while.

In the past a few members of TTF (such as Haven, Agentjerry and Zinare) have had bad experiences with one or more of its members and left the shell of their own accord. Most are still in contact with many of the current Linkshell Members: both Agentjerry and Zinare still grace my Friendlist.

My general opinion about the current membership of TTF is that whilst one or two people can be counted upon to insult each others mothers from time to time, as a whole it is a community that works quite well together and on occasion members can even be at least nominally helpful to each other. Names such as Larkwynn, Lucade, Sarlyna, Drakentear, Lynkan, Seiya, Legend, Eida, Arme, Eythan, Ediblehume, Fusionn, Crimsonflame, Cmartin (and many more- apologies if i've left you out!) tend to be the regular chatters on the shell and I've found them to be a very pleasant crowd to share my FFXI experiences with.

I'm sorry if anyone here has had bad experiences with individual TTF members... if it's a valid complaint over a particular incident rather than a more general "memberX pisses me off", please inform myself or one of the other sacks and we'll try to get to the bottom of it. The current sacks are quite capable of enforcing disciplinary action on rogue members if the need arises.

On a lighter note, I'm afraid we can't do much about Willow's "Experiences and past posts of the owner of the LS", although from past experience Pampei is quite capable of sticking up for himself! ^^

My character's name is Maelwys. To my knowledge about the only players I've pissed off in-game are mining point botters and a few regular players that I have beaten to NM claims. If _anyone_ has a problem with something I've done- as a TTF member or otherwise, I would urge them to tell me so I can set it straight. {Thank you}

Exiled tried to mpk our party in Gustav Tunnel once, hes like a 13yr old child without his required Ritalin. I wish I could have got a screenie of his comments before his weak MPK attempt. He really is a pathetic creature, needs to stop playing FFXI and finish Junior High.

Actually, now that I think of it, I think I blisted him for the spam fest he was causing in Jeuno shortly after the RNG nerf.

I'm civil and nice to everyone until they decide to be a retard. I was in a lovely Phomunia Aquaducts party, and one of the members called a friend of mine a moron when he was corrected. I doubly corrected him, and told him he's the moron making mistakes and calling names. He sent me a /tell all confused as to why I would say anything. Is it supposed to be suprising when I'm offended by people being douchebags? Hey, you pissed me off, talked bad about my friend, were a pompous twit, ect, you're asking for it.

Of course, some people don't like their personal faults pointed out, so they say things like "LOLZ I am level 75 rank 10!" or "haha no HNMLS FOR j00!". Yes, HNMLS have retards, and if they're retarded at me and get their egos bruised, they make a federal case against me.

Everyone seems to be under the impression that I just run up to random people and start abusing them. I'll verbally wail on somebody, sure, but only after they decide that they're immune to the laws of common sense. If you do something stupid, I'll point it out plainly. If you decide to take offense, then that's your problem. Make issue with me about it, and well, there you go.

There are very few people in this game that really annoy me, but the most recent person would be indeed Ellrond, that guy annoyed the living crap out of me. So... be prepared kids, Story time!

Once upon.... screw it strait to the point, it was the 1st day of the migration we invited him to a party. He being a ranger we knew it was an obvious win on our part, soon we would be shown the ignorance and the stupidity of this user. Well 5/6 members have already reach Zi'tah, we've been very patient of Ellrond to this point but then we get the little chat message of
<Ellrond> Sorry guys I'm not gonna xp until I get an E-bow.
And he promptly leaves pt after that. Well we get another person, I think it was some drk or something I forget now, and we get 8k/h doin crabs in the tree (Me and the War were great SC partners) and after everyone dings we all disband party.

This is where it all becomes sweet to me, I see him shouting that he wants to buy an E-bow for like 15mil so I just shrug it off. As I was doin my usual AH check for the day I decided to check the AH for E-bow and look and behold one is selling (btw he's still shouting) but I don't say anything. Anyways a week or two go by and well I still see him shouting for the E-bow (btw about 8 of em sell during this time.... I laughed) but thats not the only time I would have to deal with his unfortunate presence.

I was camping the O-bow one day, one of the usual days I was camping that dam bow and he sends me a /tell. Of course I didn't like him at that moment of time, but I gave him a second chance as I always do with all people who give me a bad impression the 1st time. Well he tells me that he was camping this NM for a few hours ago and stuff, we have a rather civil conversation. I thought to myself maybe he has changed but I thought this too soon. He then gives me a most absurb request, that I should tell him when the NM pops so that he can kill it himself... I'm like... no.

Well after I said no he starts to talk sh*t to me, and trying to show me up. Like asking how many times I have camped this NM, of course I didn't give him a solid number since I knew that he would try to show me up ( you don't try to play the ego game with a person whose ego is so much greater than yours and can very well prove it too...sometimes I wonder if my ego knows any bounds lol) Anyways he starts spiting out how he has camped this NM, how I'd fail without a THF (btw I've seen this dropped a lot without a THF) also that he had high lvl friends (Also interesting fact, I was /anon of course but I was on my 75Bard, and go figure... I have high lvl friend too!) I was kinda laughing at his arguments against me. I of course try to keep the entire convo civil, I eventually get him to think strait I think lol, and I offer that I'll give him the ToD (of course I didn't have any intention of giving the right ToD at all. Note to self... don't trust people u just insulted XD) Well I'm happy that was the last I've heard of him, I just hope he rots in hell!

but what I didn't understand and what prolly put a bit of stress on me (I currently have 1011mp thanks to my gear) was that during each fight I constantly fell to down to and below 300mp. keeping everyone alive, regen, haste PLD, silena, erase etc etc RDM doing a good job of refresh, hasting others, dispelling etc etc etc

But Tarmo... take a while guess as to what he was doing.

spamming the holy hell out of Dia as soon as the mob got to camp
and No, not just once or twice for a skill up.
but over and over, as in, as soon as the countdown timer was done, cast, timer down, cast, over n over n over (repeat for ever till mob dies)

granted there were times when he'd Thundaga III for a MB or something, but that was like once ever 3rd or 4th mob
makes me wish I kept a log of the xp/hr

Oh and I won't forget the many times the PLD was going "NUKE IT" with Tarmo having 500+ and the mob down to 2-3% hp...

so yeah, that's my rant, and watch out for this BLM... makes me wonder if he know's Ehrise...

and I shoulda took a guess that he was gonna be bad when he showed up to the Home Point when the pt was getting together wearing Yukata, one of the bstmen headgears lvl 40 gears (we where all lvl 70 btw) creeped me out that he was wearing such random and crappy gear (even at lvl 40) I was scared, and I'm kinda surprized my "noob" sence didn't kick in at that moment ; ;

but hey I got 5k xp outta it (in like 3-4 hrs) <.<

Wow that BLM does sounds hauntingly familiar...only other mages really notice if a BLM is slacking off. After one fight of that and if he refused to do it right, he should have simply been kicked. Not to convey a stereotype, though these two certainly seem to be on that path, but I've seen too many "free ride" BLMs. As a Red Mage, I see the mana use and watch other MBs. I watch the BLMs carefully because elemental debuffs all don't stack, so they could be overwriting mine with something else. And too many times I've seen a Black Mage rest through entire fights, full MP. Or continue resting through most of a battle, full MP, and just hop up to spam a few spells at the very end.
