Edit: Oh, and that "gilbuying friend" hasn't been a friend for months... You should try harder to keep up on the gossip before you try to flame. :) And I'm not so sure he buys gil.. He could've just gotten it from ripping people off (ie taking the stuff from accounts he was trusted with.) I haven't seen receipts from IGE for anyone, so I won't make that assumption for anybody.

Oh yeah, and a fully upgraded relic weapons doesn't cost that much gil nowadays if you can sponsor Dynamis raids regularly. :) In fact, it's a lot cheaper than a Kraken Club! Amazing how I'm such an idiot and moron, but I can do simple math! The world's gone crazy!

Here, I'll break down the math for ya..

About 250 Currency per run, twice a week, 1 million gil each run. That's 500 Currency per week. For 2 million gil. (!!Not counting any 100Coins that would drop here and there.!!)

17,900 Currency needed for fully upgraded Excalibur (sword).

17,900 divided by 250 average currency per run = 72 runs (rounded up)

72 runs divided by 2 runs per week = 36 weeks

72 runs times 1 million gil per run = 72 million gil

So.. in conclusion, we have 72 million gil and 36 weeks (less than 3/4 of a year) to get a fully upgraded Excalibur.

Possible, yes. Probable, not really. Most Dynamis LSs have more than one sponsor nowadays. However, like I said, the person Lott questioned had sole sponsored many a-runs months ago, and has been collecting currency for over half a year. Now I do not know, as I am not in the same Dynamis LS as him anymore. I can attest, however, that he had gotten thousands of currency in this manner, as I was present for months when it was happening. All you need is a Dynamis LS with members who aren't complete dolts. :) What he has done since then, I don't know.. What he does with his RL money, I do not know.. It's not my place to label people.

Eh. I enjoy levelling jobs 1-40, and you run into the most pompous retards there. Seriously. I'll party with people who screw the SC by just throwing a random WS in there, won't line up for the SA, and don't know what the mobs are weak against. That's fine, except they try to "know it all". They'll bark orders, they'll casually mention their highest level, they'll be full of non-constructive criticism. It's rather annoying.

On a different subject, I decided to pick up ballista again. The same retards are still doing it, and still do the same crap. They'll come at you 4 on 1, run otherwise, and always just hide in the back ranks hoping to get their name on a kill. Hearing [Too Weak] from some retard who's running from you more than half the time is a real laugh. I'm looking at you, mattthewonton. So, I'm partying tonight in the Den of Rancor with ls friends and two people we grabbed in Jueno, a blm and a whm. We get into a good rythmn and having just hit 66 during our last experience session we start playing with Light.

Blm asks what to MB. Then, after being told by the PLD, the THF, the RNG and myself he asks yet again 5mins later. He also asked me to Dispel the lizard's Infrasonic move. -_-

Already not being too impressed with the blm, I notice that the little idiot is casting bio II and overwriting Dia II. Several times a battle. Not just when Dia II wears off, but at the start, middle and end of the fight.

He then tries to MB with AM. Having failed to time any of the NORMAL magic bursts with any degree of success; only out of sheer dumb luck did he manage to time a few of them correctly.

I will tolerate a lot from other players but, finally after having my Dia II overwritten as soon as it was cast (for the 4th time in a row) I told him to stop it since it overwrote Dia II.

His response?
"I need to skill up Dark"

and my favorite:

"It doesn't matter anyway and if its that important just cast Dia II as soon as I cast Bio II"

He somehow failed to grasp the fact and common knowledge that Bio II overwrites Dia, Dia II and Bio and lasts for two freaking minutes. Or that if Drain, Aspir and Stun don't give enough skill-ups, that there is still Bio I in the blm spell list which Dia II will overwrite. It doesn't disappear when Bio II is learned.

After suggesting snidely that its my time of the month, the leader kicks him. His final parting shot? Paraphrased since I didn't bother to take a pic of his witty reply:

-That mithra mages suck
-I was the worst rdm that he'd ever played with (somehow forgetting the fact that I hit every mb, know the wheel and oh yes, DID MY JOB better then he could ever attempt to match)

Then there is his unforgettable reply to the tank:
"I'm a black mage but you're a paladin"

Oh,Xraided, not only did the WHM and the PLD manage to land successful and repeated MBs, but they didn't even have to be told what spell to use.

I was the paladin/party leader in this party. Xraided
was asked 4 times by myseld in /t not to use bio2 but to use another dark spell for skillup <drain perhaps>. He was only bothersome til he personally attacked Pheonic. Thats when he was kicked from the party.

Xraided only the 4th name added to my blacklist in 1 year of playing.

D2ed me out just cause I had the WHM (Mitel) on blist from before and didn't see when he said not ready.

Eniwetok She really was being a bitch (forgive my language please ^^). first i died 2 times me (being a black mage and weakened) couldnt fight and we told her to not pull, she did go pull and brought 2 crabs. (On accident or on purpose i do not know.) then after saying that i was weakened she relpies with "The Black Mage can fight even when weakened" I told Kina i was sick of her attitude and with her and the whms ok i just did my thing and sent her back to her homepoint. I immediately appologized for the whole incedent and they all agreed it was for the better. After she left we got a replacement and all was alot better. Never pty with this lady she has a really #$#%y attitude.
