Well,

I hope all the folks that have sat around whining for a server merge are happy.

We all get to lose our home

And you get to have help with your promys

We all get to fight twice the crowds camping anything

And you get to have a teleport when you want one

Oh, and did I mention

We get to lose our home...

I hope you get what you want, including the loss of your name and linkshell because of duplicates in the merge with Bismark.

R.I.P. Seraph a part of me has just died

I don't post a lot but this ^ everything you just said hits hard :/

People complained a lot but when you get down to it; everything we just had went poof and we'll have to start from a near zero ground. I'm sure some will transition better than others but for everyone else its going to be rough.

I'm with you and it's a sad day indeed; spent the better part of almost 4 years here and I'm going to miss it.

As for me..... I can't wait. I have been waiting for a server combine for years. Finally, I may be able to complete some things I have been meaning to for awhile. Look at it this way your losing your old home, but gaining an opportunity to build a better one. Change is hard, but it can lead to greater things.

I have been playing since PS2 release date, and maybe some of you remember what that was like. I enjoyed all the people, it seemed the opportunities to accomplish non-endgame goals were, for lack of a better term, easier. This will give some of us that do not have a lot of play time the chance to acquire some gear that before would take hours of shouting for help or waiting for enough LS members to get online. I welcome this with open arms.

100th post, and it only took 5 years!

Probably gonna lose my name. /Sad
And considering all the updates SE is planning I'm probably gonna call it quits on this game. Too much BS headed in.
5+ years :( at least the first few were great.

Yeah, I'm headed over to the Bismark forums right now to see what the hell we're going to do about all that.

I was looking at information on FFXIV and saw that they were merging worlds.

I haven't played in 4 years, but it is still sad to see Seraph go away.

Well... Online in FFXIV when it is released I think the first Linkshell I will create will be Seraph.

I wouldn't worry about the endgame scene on Bismarck. 90% of it got banned around this time last year.

It silly to quit over a name change in this game.... ffs your not really your character and your identity didnt go POOF!

people getting panties in a bunch. SE already said they would make current 75 gear upgradeable aka it might STILL be the best.

The only thing the update did was make the game potentially more fun, let people quit 75s they regret lving, have more people so we can do more stuff (meripo are empty on bismark), get to know more ppl which is most important thing.

People who quit before giving the merger and update a chance are just silly to me. See it out you may be surprised.

I for one cant wait to have seraph here. The ONE AND ONLY DOWNFALL is that hnm camps will double in size. really though who cares about HNM camps... as it stand unless your shell bots you dont claim anyhow. Add that to fact that HNM camps are stupid anyhow and most stuff can be gotten in ein means no real loss. The only bad part will be ixion, tia, and such but oh well life is a bitch and you dont need your purely 100% money nms anymore.

I didn't come up with this but I am supporting it.

I have begun tagging posts and bazaar notes with:

Made in Seraph

It is not in any way to be misconstrued as a negative towards anyone or anything. Just my little way of wearing an armband showing honor and respect to the server that I have held near and dear since the time when both it and I were born. Ima miss it.

I think you have solved my name problem with that simple idea. You've just given me my bazaar comment until the end. Made in Seraph. I'm not angry at the move, in fact I'm excited.

Made in Seraph Those from Bismarck might think it one thing, divisive perhaps. But those of us from Seraph will remember the old days, old friends, and all the adventures. Many adventures await us, but there's nothing wrong with looking backwards too.

Great idea!
