A new Netflix series that just started.

I'm 4 episodes in so far, but in typical Netflix fashion you can marathon the whole season if you wish.

I'ts been pretty good so far. How realistic it is to known history I have no idea but the acting/cinematography etc is all top notch.

I can't imagine how well a show about kids playing a game in a pool would do.

Wife and I binged it this weekend... except we still need to watch the last episode. It's pretty good. The initial descriptions of "Game of Thrones in China" isn't entirely accurate, but it's a good show nonetheless. Acting felt really stale in the first few episodes but got better. Boobs in almost every episode doesn't hurt, either.

"Game of Thrones" seems to just be shorthand for "costume drama with boobs".

At least this one is Asian boobs.

Edit:
Go through episode 4. Good enough to keep watching. I ignored it over the past couple days because Netflix was trying to shove it down my throat. I was actually watching some movie just the other day and when it finished, rather than just show me a few recommendations, it actually popped up "Starting in 19 seconds..."

Edit2:
I can see the similarities to Game of Thrones, beyond the costumes and boobs. With the obvious removal of the "Fire" and "Ice" elements, the comparison of the drama about the "Throne" and the deceit happening in the background between the families and people moving to power, seems valid to me.
