I don't think Elysium was bad. I don't think it was good either. In fact, I remember seeing it and that's all I can remember about it. Completely forgettable.
Also that's Hugh Jackman asCaptain Harris GW Bailey's character from Short Circuit, isn't it? Military guy trying to retrieve the military robo-drone back and determines it's too dangerous to be left alone, so on and so forth. Also betting that box on Johnny 5's Chappie's shoulder is a weapon of some sort ... this is almost insultingly similar. I bet Steve Guttenberg is hiding behind the camera, giving Zany 80's Shenanigans advice.
