Not as bad as I thought.

I can't bring myself to like Adrian Brody, though. Smiley: frown

Splice is a funny movie because it gets worse the more you dissect it. It's like Do the Right Thing in that regard.

For example, there are two main characters in the movie, but they keep switching bodies. There are two very distinctive behavioral patterns, but the writers kept switching which character they had act out either one.

I sort of noticed that, too, but I wouldn't have really thought about it if you hadn't mentioned it.

It was an okay movie until he banged the mutant chick at which point it went all to **** culminating in the ridiculous "Inside you!" bit.

Yeah... It's interesting that the movie is really all about a woman coping with her maternal instinct in a very strange and completely **** up way.

My roommate seems to be mad at me because I really have no interest in watching that movie. Smiley: laugh

Wow, you've got an awesome writing style.! I really dig the narrator's back story, humor, sarcasm, and the plethora of pop culture references. Altogether a refreshingly different RotR journal (not that I don't like the more traditional ones, mind you).

After reading over the plot synopsis, I agree with Poldy.
