Just got back from watching it. (UK release)
What i thought... hmmm. It was an average summer movie but an above average video game adaption, definately one of the best. I thought the effects were good, the stunts were good, the plot considering it was adapted from a video game was pretty good.

On the other hand i felt the script was pretty bland but i did like Dastan's cocky character, the movie could have done without some of the characters... when you see them you'll know which ones i mean (The guy who runs the illegal racing track, who was blatantly there for comic relief but didn't really provide any). The movie is also pretty fast paced, i thought this was a good thing and a bad thing at times, it felt a little bit rushed especially with the dialogue and it felt like i was watching a Bourne movie set in the middle east.

7/10, 8/10 if the script was a little bit better.

Is it out there in the USA already?

Doesn't come out till next week. Definately skipping it, though Inception looks good.

I have to agree about some of the characters. I enjoyed it though, one of the better movies based on a game.

I loved watching Inception and then getting into a huge debate about the ending with my husband.

I want to go see Salt next.

Prince of Persia was a fun movie. The best bit is how they fit the time travel in. The special effects for the sand use were very good, and the power of the sands was moderate, and used well. (ending of course, to be expected)
