Continuation of the Hijack from Pats' threadFollow

#1 Dec 10 2003 at 5:13 PM Rating: Decent
Sorry Pat.

Ok,

It was very strange for me my first year here in the East Coast.

When I was in the West Coast, I felt comfortable in a room full of "white" people, and semi out of place in a room full of "colored" people.

My first day in VA, I asked a white male for directions to the post office, and he looked terrified by me and quickly walked across the street while the light was red.

Since then, I've only noticed that sort of behavior more often, and because of said behavior, I now feel awkward in a group of "whites", yet perfectly comfortable surrounded by "colored" people.

What makes it doubly odd is the fact that the lack of sunshine here on the East Coast has made me very light skinned, so a lot of people perceive me as a "Wigga". Yet in CA, I was very dark skinned, and felt "at home" around "white" people.

All things aside, I don't care if somebody is white, black, or yellow, whatever. Who I'm attracted to is all up to me, I can date all the brown people I want and should not be considered a racist.

Last thing; a black person might shoot me, rob me, kill me...

But at least he won't Fu'cking eat me!

Damn Cannibalistic Cracka's

Empyre, Draw a Line right down the center of your body and proceed to use a hacksaw to cut the "cracker" half out of yourself. Afterwards, continue using your "it's impossible for me to be racist because I'm a Minority" side to **** and moan while pointing at the other side and calling it rascist. Pretty Please?

Nice bump. Not only is it a thread started by me, but it's also a thread in which people called me funny.

92.3% of whites are racist. What evidence do I have to support this claim? None, but any number that contains a decimal point is innately more scientific looking.

Skeet, didn't you start a whole thread based on Thundra's assertion, not long ago? I think yours was everso slightly different, let me see if I can dig out the thread.

Yeah, my reasoning was that just adding a percentage in your statement made it 92% more believable.

Back to the OPv (or close)....

I agree that almost everyone is racial.

Depending on my mood, I hang out racially.

If I'm working numbers, sticking to the rules, etc. I go hang out with the whiteys.

When I feel like carousing, bullshitting around, or just getting some sympathy for the way life treats me, I'm with the brothers.

When I want to be accepted just because I'm lily-white, I go hang out with the hispanics and pretend I don't know what Wello (sp?) means.

Acceptance is easy to get when you are open to other cultures and don't try to just fit in, but remain yourself. That's my experience.
