Any ~2004 oldbies around?Follow

Hey Midgardsormr,

I used to play FFXI in the olden days. I played beta and then migrated over to Midgardsormr with the other beta players. I played Herbi, a mithra thief and paladin. I played with my old boyfriend, a taru white mage named Tofutti. I was active on a female player's linkshell (FemmeFatale I think was the name) and also tried to start a role-playing linkshell named ElysianDreams that never really took off. I quit about five years ago.

Does anyone remember me? I recently got an Xbox 360 and was thinking about taking FFXI up again. Do they still let you renew your old character?

Fenryr here, started game in '03 on Midgardsormr...Been a while, I've been offline for 2 years, and moved to Australia and gotten married to boot...Had to lose my US account, characters deleted, lost 7 million gil and a 68 RNG/NIN main character to boot...Look me up, I'm in Windurst, started today with a new European version, name's Ulfgrimr, and yes, I'll be following the RNG path again...It's still my favourite job...*g*

Yes, indeed Fen, it was an AnAdventure pearl. I still have a couple screenshots with you in them.

i played back then but have since kicked the habit(i disagree with how the dealer acts and the quality of the product)but every so often once a year or so i will hop on for a few months say hi to those i know try to make some progress on the 4 jobs i enjoy 2 of which is all gear that i never get to lot on and the other 2 just get plain boring trying to solo/get a pt (bst blu).

i would probably play again for a little bit if SE didnt mess with their billing i used giftcards to pay for service.

I vaguely remember you Herbi! I had a Femmefatale linkshell despite being a male playing a male character. I quit a couple years ago. Good luck starting over, I couldn't do it.

I'm still around and still enjoying the game. I started playing in October 2004.

Some of the other members of KoolAid are still around too, they all began the game during beta. The ones that no longer play anymore are all gearing up for the FFXIV beta, there are like 15 folks over on the KA boards that have all applied.

Oh cool, which ones? I really enjoyed being in KA, there are still a few members playing but the shell itself is very very quiet these days. So many good folks in that LS. :)

Wow, lots of old familiar names popping up!! I remember most of you, although I don't know that I would be overly memorable to most. I'm still kicking around (although a lot less than I used to).

I started playing in 2003 and been playing off and on ever since. I'm not native to Midgardsomr though, I started on Phoenix and transferred over around a year ago. Shortly after I quit and just recently came back.

I have one character who is 61 rdm/41 whm/30 blm named Anishia
also a 41 Thief/19 Monk named Subayaineko

I recently reactivated my account. I have since moved to Phoenix, but I played on Midgardsormr as Shinta from 2004-2008. If anyone remembers me, hello! :D I'm currently under the name Absentia on Phoenix :3

lol I miss Esoteric too, strange to see anybody bring that name up anymore.(Even mattet isn't brought up anymore)

I used to play back in 03-04 name was Nastradamus and I was in the LS TheWay. I had a 60 pld and a 60 rdm... sometimes I wish I could reactivate my old account...
