Now I wanted this page to say something. :D
After five years my husband is finally playing the game. The most exciting part is that we did an ingame renewal of our wedding vows wednesday evening.
Our very good ls friends came and celebrated with us. :D
My husband and I were very touched by the ceremony and the friendship we have enjoyed in the game. It meant a lot to us to see our friends there with us.

I threw a BBQ last night and ate too much and fell asleep at like 9 so I didn't get any adventuring done last night. Thinking about calling in late to work so I can be there when it goes down though.

An issue regarding the glitch misspelling the phrase <<Welcome to Garuda>> whilst logging in is being addressed.
Until this issue is fixed, please convince the players that swear the server is named Lakshmi that it is in fact named Garuda.

These new combined servers have too many people.
Combine that with new items in campaign and you have campaign battles that last all of 60 seconds.
155 people in the vunkerl battle I was in this morning before work. The NM died in 13 seconds.
Yay.

FYI, I made a formal request in the Site Feedback forum to move this thread to the Lakshmi server forum before they close this one. I'm sure there's more than a few of us that would like to see it keep going.
Just found out that even if there was the slightest chance I was gonna come back, it's now not happening. I checked the second I heard about the merge to see if I lost my name. Nothing. Until today, a Martel sprouts up on Lakshmi.

I can't believe how much shouting goes on in Whitegate on Lakshimifd! I miss the nice, orderly ways of Garuda.
Not going to lie, when I saw 4 dynamis linkshells, 5 sky linkshells, and a couple limbus linkshells shouting I really did get scared.
2001-2011, retired because Abyssea destroyed my enjoyment of FFXI.

I also noticed shells shouting like crazy, i guess it is the best time to get some new players in their shells. I'm thankful my social shell Shibby and my dyna shell are staying together. Garuda will be missed but now we have the chance to meet new people.
