I switched to this server in hopes to find more folks doing older content, but nope...Abyssea, abyssea, abyssea. I think this expansion just ruined this game. now i'm stuck in this server for 90 days until i can switch to another server in hopes to find others with my goals. while i'm here, are there any others out there that can help make this server worthwhile for me or is there no hope? just abyssea for everybody?

Long story short -- This is every server. Abyssea is a cancer that is killing the game to those who don't enjoy it. My advice is if you don't enjoy Abyssea, just take a break from the game until future non-abyssea content makes its way into the game. Abyssea definitely isn't for everyone!

Edit: I have to say though, just randomly jumping to a different server in hopes that things change is pretty reckless, and a waste of money.

I feel this too - Abyssea seems to have really killed much of the game. Especially for an old player returning to the game.

My adventure thus far has been:

1-15: gustaberg & konschtat
15-25: gusgen mines
25-37: qufim island

That's it. Where was Valkurm Dunes leveling? Garlaige? I jsut skipped Kazham? Now I can't find a party for the life of me and everyone is telling me to head to Abyssea. =(
