I am starting a LS for people new to the game. Anyone can join, if you are high level and
would like to pop on to help great, if you are new to the game and need help great. Open LS Anyone can join.

I looked at this forum and noticed that there are a lot of new players looking for help so I decided to do this because I know that that help is hard to find. It is hard to find partys so it will also help to be in an ls with lots of new people.

Anyways just send me (Mattis) a tell in game and I will get you a pearl.

Abyssea really pumped some new life into FFXI and with this new update about to change non-abyssea xp accumulation, it's going to be even better. In the last 9 years I have been playing, now is really an exciting and more fun time in the game that in previous years.

Just the other night, I took my RDM from 60 to 72 in a couple of hours. No exaggeration there at all, literally two hours and I was there.

Give it a try, it's a blast compared to the old days!

I've been toying with the idea of returning this spring. WoW is getting boring again and the community is terrible with some people providing a few exceptions. The overwhelming majority of people in WoW have these self-inflated egos that they're all the master of whatever job they're playing, and they may be that good when soloing, but when it comes to teamwork NOBODY IN THAT GAME HAS A DAMN CLUE! What makes WoW even more depressing is that (I play Druid so this is where I'm coming from) the developers seem to have a hard time grasping party mechanics too. In the last few patches they nerfed the healers and tanks, but tweaked damage? Seems like Blizzard needs to come down off the acid trip now.

My crying aside, I'm between coming back to FFXI and leveling some of my old 75 jobs, FFXIV, and DC Universe Online (As a kid I was an immense comic book nerd).

Alliam, you know why I have to ask you this (because you said you were on RDM), how long are you spending LFG on DD jobs? Is the exp better now for all jobs, but DDs spend the whole day in campaign still?

Yes, Marti and I came back to FFXI. I had enough of the idiots in wow to last me the rest of my life. And we found a way for them to accept our credit card. Regg came back last nite. Summon is back, manchu is back..again, lol I think mystief will be back soon.

Its been quite interesting to say the least. Alot of the old areas seem real dead but abyssea is where it all is now. Took my 34 thf to 90 in like week and a half. We have enough people on it is easy to put together an exp group.

Anyhow, hit martimo or me up in game if you come back wln!

LOL yeah that is true, but there have actually been a lot of other people coming back.

This offer still standing? I'm looking for a social LS really. Starting back later tonight. Still haven't picked a server. As long as there are people on at all times and they're talkative, I'm game.

I'm an old player and returned Dec '10.

I'm not lvl 75+ on any job, I've not completed even 80% of missions, BUT i will help out anyone who asks! I'm currently helping out a noob new player who joined in Feb '11.

So please hit me up with a pearl and if not, anyone who needs help leveling/missions/quests etc etc I will lend a hand!

I stopped palying WOW a while ago but have picked up Rift since. IMO it's better then WOW, they have a Bard!!!

Hey, I'm making my return to XI in a week or so and this LS sounds perfect. I made it to lvl 40 or so on my SAM back in 08 but I never REALLY got into the game. With all this new stuff thats been added I can see I'm really going to need help getting on my feet but I have a couple questions.

Is Fenrir well populated?

Which nation is the most dominant?

Hello all, I am yet another FFXI player returning after a 4 year break. Before that I played from day 1. Lots to wrap my head around right now and figure out what I need to do to catch up. Character names are Gaignun and Kunkey. Hope to see you all around!

Returning for the first time since 2006. New account as I can't remember my old account details from that far back - but nice to see some people coming back and pumping some life into what I think is one the better made MMO's out there.

I'll see you guys on there once steam is finished downloading the game/installing and then the patching process.

I just came back from an 8 month hiatus and found out that my current LS is wiped out. I'd like to join another one if possible. Character name is Blaike, been playing off and on since just after NA release, but never made it to 75.

Hello, all. I'm not exactly a new NEW player, but I am most defiantly looking for a good, reliable LS to join. I took a little break from FFXI, and now that I'm back my former LS is gone. I'm looking forward to really picking FFXI again =)
