Fenrir's Official Help Thread

| Purpose |

I have decided to create this thread after viewing a similar thread on the Unicorn server. This thread will help elliminate the countless help requests and provide a central point to everyone needing a hand.

| What to Post |

This thread is designed for anyone requesting help with such things as:

AF
Rank Missions
ZM Missions
CoP Missions
EXP Parties
Items
Crafting
NM and HNM Hunts
Etc.

Basically anything you need help with is game.

| Example Post |

Be sure when you post to list al relevant information to your task. Post links, add a mini-guide, anything that will make it go quicker and more orginized for whoever might want to help you. Also, list all times you are available for this.

When you respond to a post, please keep all correspondence to PM. This will help cut down on spam and make the thread more effective overall.

When you finish whatever it is you are requesting, please find your original post and add a "Mission Accomplished" or somethign similar. This will help determine who needs help, and who has already recieved it.

As the best server on this game, I am proud everytime someone posts a help request and immediately gets some good responses. This thread will help contain all of those requests and consilidate them. There are many people out there that love to help with just about anything. This will allow those people to quickly glance who needs what.


| Credits |

First and foremost I credit Cliftonixs of Unicorn server with the format and overall content of this thread. This is basically a cut and paste job. He did such a damn fine job I did not want to change anything. He also credits many sources for his original thread:



I will be making a new post every Monday morning to break up the posts into weeks. Again, I credit Cliftonixs with this idea.

Any ideas or comments you all can give me pertaining this will definitely be taken into consideration.

Your Task(s): obtaining Ancient Salt from Sand Diggers in QSC to complete the quest, The Opo-opo and I

Date & Time: Friday, April 22, 2005, 8:00 p.m. EST (for ~4+hours)

Detailed description: I posted this on my LS message board, but I haven't gotten much of a response. I am 2 items from completeing my crown, and would really like to have it finished within the next week so I can move ahead in levelling and doing things like Dynamis. Need at least 2-3 people level 65+ to help, the worms are level 62-65 and we will need to get past a weight door to get to the area where the worms spawn. The respawn time on the worms sucks (and there are only 4-5 spawns), so I'm planning to spend a minimum of 4 hours in order to get the drop.

Additional Comments: A THF with TH2 would be really nice. :3 Skill-ups are a possibility if you're looking for them, since the worms cap at level 65. All drops except my Ancient Salt drop will be passed (worms drop copper, zinc, silver, mythril, and gold ores). Compensation is a possibility, but it won't be much since right now I only have ~100k.

Just a thought, It might be prudent to use this in conjunction with www.ffxiparty.com. I know part of the problem was that no one checked the other website.
If we post on here, and get signups on the other site, it will reduce the pagination on this thread.

Big thanks to Aidan, I asked a 63 blm if they wanted to assist with mission 5-2 and they showed up as a 74 rdm. We could not have done it without you!

Coffer key thanks go out to a Japanese player, Igagia, and his awesome ls. I was shouting for a party, and got a tell: "JP OK?" When we had difficulty killing mobs his LS showed up and slaughtered everything that moved. Got a key for a 57 mnk that joined too. I hope you got your coffer, Blink, I only beat you to that one because I was willing to die, and didn't even try to buff up first.

Just wanted to say thanks for the help!
