Thanks to Potus, I have finally realised that my twitter account has been suboptimal.

I will now engage caps lock AT RANDOM points, alternately deny collusion, then deny that collusion is a crime, shout childish taunts at my accusers, focusing on THEIR DISABILITIES rather than the basis of their claims, and generally rant xenophobic, inflammatory statements about people on who we all depend, and point the prow of the western democracy ship at the bottom of the ocean.

Never realised how simple, so really really simple it is. So simple. Simple.

My favorite part is that Melania's pet project as the First Lady is to speak out against cyberbullying.

I've come to the conclusion that Melania has been trolling her husband for the past year.

Kinda rich since it's against the law in the U.K. now to do what was once a tradition on this forum.

Did someone besides Imperial Ninja do that?

It was IN who did that, right?

Post on the forums?

Or we talking about IN's obsession with Pikko, and subsequent removal from the moderator position?

Somebody sent **** Pics, and I am pretty sure it was after the Anaheim FFXI Fan Fest (That is where I met my first Zam Mods), and IIRC, it was IN to Pikko.

Almost everything was wrong in that post above.

Not Imperial Ninja..."'Magi" and his Wang" is the correct answer.

My forum search skills are strong tonight!

I vaguely remember people talking about it happening, but wasn't active in this part of the forums at that time. I just assumed it was joke at the time. Then the IN/Pikko thing, but details were never actually released outside a small group of regulars who knew what happened. This is the first I heard anything like this about it. I just heard he was kind of obsessive about her and things happened and he got kicked out.

I also remember something about a female poster here before my time. Began with an M I think, (melody or melanie?) doing the female equivalent (what would that be called, a slot shot?). But again, I just assumed it was all a joke. That one very well may have been.

It was Melody.

If y'all want to know more about the Melody thing, do a forum search with the parameter content=melody and poster=barkingturtle and set aside, like, 3 days to read all the posts.

Ya, when he said 3 days to read all the posts, it wasn't just because of the quantity, but the speed of the site searches these days.

Also, I've noticed before and these searches just remind me, the search results and post links seem broken. I assume because of the database restructure a while back. Links to old search results and links to specific posts created a while back tend to be inaccurate. What should link to say... Page 15 post #5, actually pops you until page 7 post #10, etc. So you have to hunt down the real post in a thread you were looking for.

I think it shows up in current threads as the "go to latest" green arrow doesn't actually go to the latest. Though I think that is mostly due to nuked posts in the large topics.

Lots of old memories reading back on those posts. I mostly lurked in the Asylum/OoT during those times, being an FFXI player, it was one of the few site layouts that had OoT and Asylum as dedicated links on the left side. Most other sites didn't put them on their side bar. I recall a lot of the old posters, at least those not from the original forums, being Mooglefuckers.

1. The search function (at least for me) was a little slow but not agonizingly so. Midcontinent is my provider, though, and the service is consistent and fast so maybe that's the difference? (First loggin into Allah's though? That's a wait.Smiley: glare

2. ie the bolded bit; I've been seeing that for about 12-18 months.

3. I don't see this effect, but then I only go to =4, =28 and =5 (for the OoTS thread).

4a. I started lurking =28 and =4 in June 2007 and remember one of the first threads I read was the one where Maji was banhammered with an orbit death ray. Smiley: laugh BEHOLD!! IT IS SLAIN FOREVER!!<<<That's a link, BTW.

4b. EQ layout had that, too.

4c. They even had/have a smiley for that cesspool. Smiley: moogle-----------------------------------Smiley: mad

As an aside: I've tried most layouts and I found the EQ layout the easiest on the eyes, by a huge margin..Black on tan/parchment and if someone changes color on text (like I did in the last post) it isn't invisible like it is on some layouts.

My provider is whatever McDonalds is using across the street because my work network deals with a ton of confidential and, frankly, secret information and the admin doesn't take too kindly to random flights of forum fancy and Zippyshare downloads. Only need to be reminded twice on that. Today it's functional, but yesterday was grueling.

I noticed the whole "search function misses by five pages" thing as well, but didn't really pay it much attention. It's still working better than it used to.
