Can you give me an exact example of some form of discrimination that you think this law will allow for, but that you don't think should be allowed?

It would allow the staff at Little Lamb of Mary Day Care to refuse to admit children purely on the basis of their parents' sexuality.

And? If that one day care is also a 501(c)(3) religious organization, and the selling point of the day care is that it's run by nuns and intended to provide a proper Christian environment for the children based upon the teachings of the church in question, then isn't that perfectly acceptable? I guess the next question is: Other than for the specific purpose of creating a lawsuit, why would a same sex couple send their child to the one day care in town run by members of a religion that views their own relationship as sinful?

...and I think that should not be allowed. I thought that already followed on the basis of your request.

You realize that most day cares with religious affiliations aren't actually administered by Sally Field nor send the tykes to Mass or anything, right?

They need to explain to you why they should be able to choo-- oh, right.. it's you. Homosexuals don't actually have rights in your eyes. They need to justify everything to straight people and gain approval on a state-by-state basis before they're allowed to live.

What if the gay couple are members of this religious organization? Should they still be denied the opportunity to have their child(ren) cared for by members of their community?

Not everyone's fears are as easy to exploit as yours are.

That's not how examples work. You've nothing to say, but have to say something. Utterly shocking in it's lack of shock.

It certainly isn't leading to a Conservative Presidency.

They live in an area where adequate daycare facilities are rare or nonexistent.

Not the best use of $30m, but at the same time if I had that kind of lettuce to donate on a whim I'd do the exact same thing.

I wonder how much it'd cost to convince the school to change their mascot to a starfish.

I mean, I'd chip in on that Kickstarter.

I'd throw in a five, maybe more if we make it a leech instead of a starfish.

If you posterior is reminiscent of a leech, you should seek medical attention. Now.

If the money to GMU was donated on the condition that GMU use that specific name, does refusing to use it deny the University the donation?

Fun aside, the university put out a release a few days ago saying the name would be the Antonin Scalia Law School (versus "School of Law").
