No, because you're just rambling nonsense as if you're knowledgeable on the subject. I have no idea on what you are trying to achieve by only asking me to prove what I already said.

angrymnk wrote:

So there is a line, not your line, but a line nonetheless.
How can it be or not be "my line" if I never said what the line was?

angrymnk wrote:
Is it fair to say it is the line created by society?

There is no unification on the definition of the line, hence the the point of this conversation. This isn't Physics, so it's purely opinionated. Therefore, what constitutes as acceptable forms of torture can and will vary.

False. Truth exists whether you believe in it or not. And amusingly enough, physics is hardly as deterministic as you seem to think ( at our current understanding of quantum physics anyway ).

What I am saying is, as long as we can agree on a definition, we may be able to agree to a line ( which apparently exists regardless of your acknowledgment of its existence ).

See? I didn't even deem it your line. It is just a line now. See how accommodating I am?

There is no 'acceptable' form of torture. Any more than there is an acceptable form of rape. FFs!

And stuffing hummus up someones chuff under the pretense of 'feeding' them is rape, pure and simple. Those people were raped by the CIA. That should be abhorred by everyone who hears about it.

I'm pretty horrified that anyone is trying to defend the use of torture and rape as method of state sanctioned intelligence gathering.

I thought you cnuts were s'posed to be better than those cnuts?

So, you're arguing that this isn't subjective, that there is an objective line that can be proven true? If so, please link me to this study. If not, then you're agreeing with me.

Unless we both become subject matter experts on torture, it is impossible to agree to a line. Anything agreed upon would be out of complete ignorance, rendering it completely useless. At best, we can only voice our opinions on the subject.

Rape, by definition, is a specific type of action, torture is not (i.e, it can be physical or mental).

Can't we just agree we should only use torture in situations that make the torturer feel better?

Apparently posting pics to Facebook of someone falling from the Twin Towers on 9/11 is enough justification for any kind of torture-based interrogation. Cos that **** has been all over the place the past week.

I've been making "declarations" since my first post. Just because you want them to be more unrealistically accurate doesn't negate their existence.

Heh, by that logic nothing exists and nothing can be proven. Do you happen to be a philosophy major?:P I also dig the either/or false choice you try to impose here. Like I said before, it is cute to watch a child take its first steps.

As for my objective.. right now I would settle for you to just settle on stating that *** feeding is beyond the line, and, therefore, torture. I am sure we can move go somewhere once you acknowledge something so basic.

Since we are on the subject, why does it bother you so much that there may be no objective other than my amusement?

Normally it would count as torture, but I think in this case it probably doesn't.

Don't project your inability to read and/or understand a simple concept as a flaw in my logic.

angrymnk wrote:

If it's not "either/or" then it could be either of the two, which supports my claim that you can't pin point a specific line. You can only draw a line that can't be contradicted, if it is objective. If there exist a scenario where two different lines can be drawn and both hold true, then they are subjective. If you think there is another scenario, then please provide that scenario, else answer my previous question.

I'm not sure if you're actually being serious or not. I assume that you're just trolling for amusement, but comments like these make think that you might actually believe this. Serious question, do you really believe in the logic you just presented? I'm trying to determine how much effort I should place in these responses.

angrymnk wrote:

Read above. I'm not bothered. I'm just trying to determine how much of your ignorance is real. I can one-line all day, but I have no desire to put in any effort in a real discussion with someone using the logic above. At least make it interesting.

Then quit. It wasn't meant to be interesting for you.

Thus far you have failed to answer any question satisfactorily and you get bent all out of shape because it does not fit YOUR (emphasis mine ) logic.

I think I understand now. You are less verbose version of Gbaji and about as stubborn. Should be good times.

Is the line in reference objective, subjective or something else? If it's objective, please link the source. If it's something else, please explain what that something else is.
