This guy is just completely out of touch. Rob Ford has finally decided to get help for his addiction issues. I'm happy he's come to the right decision and I hope he gets the help he needs but the guy still thinks he has a shot at being re-elected when he's finished with rehab...that's a special kind of stupid.

He'd use that he went to rehab as a sounding board to boast about how he takes personal responsibility for his problems and probably win.

I believe the thing is that he actually does have a chance at winning the election

I don't think so.

After taking a leave of absence from his elected position to manage his addiction problems that he's lied about and dodged for ages. With 2 new videos of recent drunk/high/belligerent behaviour, one of which clearly shows illegal behaviour.

No, he's lost it. Before today I might have agreed with you, but not now.

If he loses I doubt it'll be by a wide margin.

No, you're probably right, I don't expect it'll be a landslide but I don't expect him to win either.

He's a bit of a mixed bag. He resonates with normal people who see that he has problems they can relate to and therefore "should" understand what the common man needs/wants. He also has a good track record of doing what he says he'll do professionally.

But this is too far, I can't see him recovering from this.

Collective memory is very short.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if he actually won.
