I just see such little difference between Ice Dancing and Figure Skating and both are pretty boring to watch. That's not to say the skaters are not talented, well-trained athletes. Many of the Olympic 'sports' seem questionable.

Eh...there's a pretty significant difference in athleticism. That said, I'm in favor of 0 judged events at any Olympics. Obviously it'll never work that way, but anything with random people deciding who wins is generally not worth watching.

Yeah, ice dancing has no jumping elements. It's ballroom dancing on skates. Whereas pairs figure skating has like synchronized triple jumps and spinning throws.
Not that I watch either of them.
