Bust out the rad suits?

I expect a site named "occupycorporatism" lacks a certain level of credibility but just in case, has anyone seen anything relating to this?

Welp, so long. Been good to know ya.

If the steam was spotted over a week ago and it takes three days for lethal doses to reach the west coast... well, color me shocked we haven't seen any effects so far.

I'm not downplaying the threat of a meltdown, but I'm also not going to panic based on this source.

Steam doesn't necessarily mean a meltdown. In fact, I'd think more steam would be predicted with colder temps in the surrounding environment.

The gov has rounded up the Japanese homeless to clean up the mess. It should be all copacetic in no time.

It's a bit interesting, from the standpoint of 'free speech' limitations, that this Turner Radio Network is sending out urgent warnings suggesting west coast US folks 'prepare' for the resultant nuclear cloud to land on their heads.

Found the source still don't know the validity but MSNBC and a few others are reporting based on this source. Tends to be buried a bit though, not front page for sure.

I wouldn't expect much validity just based on the page name. Even if there is, it's just the west coast so no big whoop.

From the article:

Quote:
(NOTE: this may not be 100% effective. Houses have loads of nooks and crannies which allow air from the outside to get inside. If you cover the largest ones, you're at least giving yourself and family a fighting chance.)

That's... that's not how radiation works.

I like the list of recommendations.

Quote:
• Keep up-to-date on developments via the Internet
• Buy Duct tape, masking tape and self-adhesive weather stripping
• Cover windows and doors with plastic
• Cover electrical outlets and light switches with plastic
• Cover vents in bathrooms and stoves with plastic
• Purchase a NIOSH N100-certified filter mask for each member of the family
• Purchase disposable TYVEK suit for going outside
• Wash obsessively

Sage advice for every sane person. Smiley: tinfoilhat

Smiley: lol I bet Red Green wrote this list.

Cover all your vents, put on your gas mask, don your Tyvek (I'd go with the full booty and hood option) duct tape yourself to the wall, and start scrubbing your boDy.

This is all just a ploy by the Japanese government to repay us for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As they say, revenge is a dish best served radioactively steamed.
