Returning... Few QuestionsFollow

Hello All! Its been many many years on and off for me in the FFXI world, and im coming back. In game known as Rioko, some might know me, others might not. Dunno how the population is nowadays, i was around when Rpgdreamers alliance was the shiz for social then junglist. Anyways, alot has changed.

Question is, whats to do now? Left off at 75 whm and 75thf. But heard the level cap is up there now, is it worth it? Keep in mind, ive always loved this game i just dont wanna come back and be bored a month later lol. Hope to hear back from anyone! Also, i need a popular website for all my FFXI needs, dunno if KI is still up and useful, ill go check >.>

well i heard the game got a revamp, alot of old content no one either really does anymore, or it can be accomplished with just 6 people (Sky gods, etc) heard rdms can even duo kirin and sh*t like that lol. I just wanna come back cuz the level cap is 90? 99 would be fun :] i def dont wanna play FFXIV no matter how new it is, played beta and was very displeased. Still need more info tho, KI is shot :p

i will def take you up on that offer, being alone all day today wasnt pretty :/ Ill look you up next time im on ^^ thank you for responding. Had to update the game for a million hours, and im on the first NM fight for abyssea and have all expansions so thats no problem.

For the most part people generally lowman stuff in Abyssea now. Social LSs can do just as much as large dedicated endgame LSs, so really you don't need to "apply" to any specific endgame LS, and there's really not one singular (or 2-3) different LS that basically run the endgame scene anymore. My best advice is to just get in the game, reunite with old friends or make some new ones, and play around in Abyssea. If you want more structure, I'm sure you'll see a few common LSs running around, but don't necessarily mistake someone that has a lot of +2 gear and Empyrean weapons for someone that's in an elite endgame LS, good gear is just that easy to come by now.

It's to the point now where I can't really list off the EGLSs like I used to be able to since many of the LSs I see in Abyssea are social shells that just have a few people messing around killing stuff.
