9 year Vet, Making a Return. What to Do When?!Follow

Ok, let me start off by giving you all a brief intro. and about me.
I got by FAMOUS in game.
Now, I started playing FFXI when it first came out, I was 13-14 years old.
I am now 22, and have recently found a group that has decided to return to the game. Now, with this being said, When I played, I never got into that game to the point where I was addicted. I partied for hours in Valkrum Dunes, had to zone giblins in both Jungles, and that was about as far as i took myself in the game. No limit Break, no MAAT, Sea, Sky, none of that I ever experienced because I gave into WoW like alot of players did back then. I am currently a 31 THF/22WAR/6RDM. I speed leveled in Gusgen from 20-31, which I enjoyed, not having to LFG in Valkrum from hours on end. I picked up my subjob, and complete the first 3 Bastok missions. As far as where I need help, I need to know if THF/WAR is still viable, or what maybe I need to sub with THF or use THF a sub as. I was gone way before all of the new advanced jobs were released, and i'm still unsure of where I need to be leveling, or what I need to be doing at certain levels.
