I understand exactly how it would work. I remember what the experiment banners looked like from a few months ago. I've seen the WoW banners. It still doesn't change the fact that it's still a waste of space. Just because it won't be as annoying as it is on other sites doesn't mean it's a good idea.
Are you against the use of colors in posts too?
I don't understand how someone can not want other people to have the ability to have small signiture images if it won't even affect them. (How the hell is it even going to be annoying?)
That's like me crying that that person giving blowjobs for political reasons in Belgium shouldn't be alowed to do that when it doesn't affect me at all.
