Jug pet damage typesFollow

Is there anyone that would mind giving sort of a rough rundown of what damage types the jug pets do? I had tried the Wiki page on familiars, but it doesn't list them. I'm just coming up on level 23, and want to use appropriate damage types for certain mobs as I level with people. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

I don't think anyone went back to test the early ones
carrie is blunt damage

in later levels almost all pets do slashing damage with a few who do blunt, such as mnk type pets.

I really can't say if that holds for earlier level jug pets. I think the low level funguar is blunt also, but I've not tested.

Well, thanks for the response. It seems fairly easy to guess on some (Flowerpot Bill is probably blunt for example), but I always like to see things straight in writing when I can.

Most of the old Jug Pets deal Blunt damage, in contrast to our new Pets, which are mainly Slashing damage.

Edit: Confirmed AmigoSabotender and LifedrinkerLars are Blunt damage too.

I guess i could have mentioned it in my first post, but i was specifically wondering if there were any jug pets pre 75 that do piercing damage.

In that case, pretty sure the answer is no. Though there may be one or two Ready moves that deal piercing damage (wasn't 1000 Needles one?).

you didn't read the whole post.
He's looking for sub 75 damage types. the page only shows damage types for 75+ jugs.

And they are not consistent. Funguar familiar is blunt damage while Louise is slashing.

To be fair, I was going to post the same type of info when I first saw the OP. I had to re-read the OP and do some guessing to figure out that when the OP said "I had tried the Wiki page on familiars, but it doesn't list them", he really meant "it doesn't list all of them."

Yeah, that was my bad. I didn't actually specify pre-75 pets as a whole.

I did however mention just coming up on being able to use jug pets, and I guess I would have felt like I was being redundant. Oh well, the post was a mess, but you guys were good with the info anyway :)
