{/sigh} Oh well, didn't get to page 8 but was a good effort.

Random Fact:

In the 1940s, the FCC assigned television's Channel 1 to Mobile Services (two-way radios in taxicabs, for instance) but did not re-number the other channel assignments. That's why your TV set has channels 2 and up, but no channel 1.

Sorry, just had to have you read this it's kinda nuts...

The US Navy submarine have been using active sonar technology, a deafening burst of noise that is dangerous even 300 miles from it's source. Some mid-frequency sonar systems can put out over 235 decibals, about as loud as a rocket launch!

Even one hundred miles from the LFA (Low Frequency Active sonar) system, animals experience the equivalent of decompression sickness, killing every dolphin, porpoise, orca, and whale within 100-300 miles, depending on the decibal.

Mass strandings and deaths associated with active sonar have occurred in Madeira (2000), Greece (1996), the U.S. Virgin Islands (1998, 1999), the Canary Islands (1985, 1988, 1989, 2002), and, northwest coast of the United States (2003).

Researchers have found that many humpback whales cease singing when exposed to an LFA sonar signal, again, if hundreds of miles from the source. Animals literally jump out of the water to try to avoid the sound. The effects vary, causing internal bleeding and bursting organs including lungs and eardrums. Next time you see reports of a mass beaching of dolphins, know that the US Navy was nearby.

But to not make this a total Karma whore post, I will say that I gave away 3 Garlaige Coffer Keys last night out of the goodness of my heart.

And hearing that Pat Morita died saddens me, I really loved him as Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid.

About BST being the tightest community: I agree, but it's odd. All other jobs use so much more interaction among other players while we work best on our own, and yet, we are all so close. I guess it's because we all understand each other so much better than any other job.

Rate-ups for all.

Funny Thanksgiving story:

I was hanging out with my half-brother, my dad and my 7-year-old son in my uncle's garage. My brother said "Pie and a nap...that's what I need...pie and a nap."

My son: "Pie and a DIRT nap!"

Beastmaster in a nutshell, isn't it?

lol BST rock, they can do anything and provide good help in many situations: coffer PT's, (distraction on links and killing) and of course, BC"s and KS battles ^ ^.
I'm glad the BST in the LS im in is always helpful, they're never "too busy" to help out, really cool guys.
lol and that guy can't spell, yeah I know he's done this post in all the forums but come on...
u gotta be like what 2 or something to spell that bad and in caps...
unless he was doing it on purpose, then he did a really good job of convincing us that he's retarted XD

I probably wont try BLU, at least to start as everyone will be going BLU.

Although, with the good possibilty that they are adding 4 jobs, I may give one a try relatively soon after it's release. Will also depend on the level of BST at that time. I plan on taking BST all the way...

Fighting back against the ratedowns.

You know, I was cruising the main board this evening and noticed an interesting topic on my old haunt, the Red Mage forums.

Well, I thought, I think I might have something useful to add. I went on over, and what do I see?

The post had been rated down to 2.67, and the followup post was rude, haughty and contemptuous. It seemed as though the followup poster had only read the original post in order to find something to disagree with and display his superior knowledge.

I have been so spoiled by this forum. ._. It's the only one worth posting in anymore, since every other forum seems to be bent on the 'I AM MORE UBER THAN JOO' nail.

<3 BST.

ps: Soloed G3 in Davoi and Beadeaux today, didn't take a point of damage. Oztroja tomorrow....and time for the Jackcoat while I'm at it. Smiley: cry
